And you tried to soften it by saying you were wearing a bright red dress and picked a table on the sidewalk. I just want to let you know neither of those choices warrant a man to ever make you uncomfortable. You were doing you and didn’t ask for his presence. Love that you did this and loved that you voiced this!

You should make this like a mini challenge series for things people get nervous to do by themselves. Loved this! I’m an only child and in a new relationship that’s a little long distance (5 hours). It’s cool to see people do things by themselves.

Nothing wrong taking oneself out on a date especially when it comes to just wanting to treat oneself to food /beverage - it’s not necessary to always eat out w/ people. The introvert in me would rather not eat with others. The fact that People rely on societal expectations that give them validation of what to do and what not to do defeats the purpose of living on their own terms and or being the boss of their own life. Seeking validation will keep you trapped. You don’t need anything or anyone to approve of your worth. When you understand this you will be free.
