Its still a mystery to me why everytime people talk about best dancers in NCT, yuta's name is rarely brought up compared to taeyong and ten. He dance so precise, powerful and very light on feet. He also has a good sense of style. His *new thangs* move is definitely my favorite among them.
*I just wish more people would acknowledge that he got what it takes to be called NCT's Best Dancer*
In my personal opinion, he danced better when he was an SM Rookie. He was super smooth back then. And while he's obviously still a really good dancer, I feel like he has become stiffer and more robotic since his rookie days. He needs to bring back the freedom he used to have whenever he was dancing.
I agree. I’ve always thought he was the best dancer of NCT 127 alongside with Taeyong, because his movements stand out; he hits the musicality of a choreography with great precision. It’s just about him being given enough time to shine for others to see.

@@h.t.8710 i think it might be harder than you might think. it has become a part of him, a habit that's hard to change. and it's impressive tbh, but well he might look robotic and lacks "life" in his movement. this particular style sets him apart from the others for sure, his technique on conserving power has shown what it's truly capable of in cherry bomb especially the live performance version. so his "stiff dancing" would only be perfect if it's a slower beat song or a hard hitting beat song and nowhere in between since normal audiences will never be able to tell the differences without an actual fancam or so.
and uh, about the 'freedom' you're talking about.. it's still there in his dancing, but at the point it's barely noticeable and it might never really go back that way.
Yuta deserve A LOT more dance time. He’s killin every move without even trying hard. I’m shook cuz I actually didn’t look too much to him dance but now I WILL!!

idk how to explain it clearly but i find yuta’s dance is really different than the others, he kinda uses his own style which is VERY UNIQUE IDK HOW TO DESCRIBE IT BUT I FIND IT COOL OMG WHAT

not everybody has a flowing dance movement, specially those who do popping and locking a lot. I remember watching a dance show where they had dancers who specialised in different genres and they were constantly challenged to do something out of their comfort. It's just different dance styles, not laziness...

대학원 공부할 때 2년 정도 오사카에서 생활해서 오사카출신 유타에겐 자꾸 관심도 가고 타국에서 혼자서 자신의 꿈을 위해 몇년을 노력해서 원하는 걸 이루는 건 정말 힘들고 어려운 일인데 좌절도 있고 힘든 일도 많았고 가족, 친구와 떨어져 혼자서 잘 이겨낸 오늘의 유타가 참 기특하다고 항상 생각이 들어요. 전 그것만으로도 대단하다고 생각합니다. 16살에 와서 25살. 9년 동안 변함없이 노력한 유타는 한일관계와 상관없이 칭찬하고 싶어요.

전에 한 일본 유튜버가 유타가 춤출때 가벼운것같으면서 마냥 가볍지 않은 느낌을 줄 수 있는 이유가 발때문이라고 했는데 발뒤꿈치를 계속해서 들때가 많다고 해서 직캠을 보다보면 뒤꿈치가 꽤 오랫동안 들려있는것같아요.
실제로 따라해보려고 하면 되게 힘들던데 유타가 그만큼 자신의 스타일을 찾으려고 노력한것같아서 너무 고맙고 자랑스러웠어요.
항상 노력하는 유타를 보면서 나도 더 열심히 해야지란 생각을 많이 하게 됩니다 ㅎㅎ

yuta's style of dancing often cause a misunderstanding of him lazy dancing. he's not. he just know what he's doing. when to relax and when to put all of his power.

Relaxed looking but actually a lot of small muscle control. The smooth and chill choreo is always hard because every movement counts. He has a unique style I like how he dances en pointe a lot he’s so balanced🙏🙏🙏

항상 느끼는데 유타 힘있는데 부드러운 춤선이 팔에서 나오는 거 같다… 팔로 하는 안무를 굉장히 잘 살림 팔의 힘 조절이 정말 좋음.. 블온블 센터 때도 영웅 안무도 레귤러도 유타가 센터면 팔 안무가 많이 있는 것 같은데, 정말 안무 하나하나 너무 개성있게 잘 살림

정말 하루에 5개 정도는 기본으로 유타 직캠을 보는데 데뷔초 보다 확실히 실력 늘은 게 느껴지고 자기만의 춤선이 확 드러나서 좋다. 얼마나 노력했는지 감히 상상도 할 수 없지만 내가 해줄 수 있는 말은 고맙다 사랑한다 뿐인 것 같아. 이번 영웅 활동으로 유입도 늘었고 더 많은 사람에게 알려지고 인정 받은 것 같아서 내가 다 뿌듯하네 ㅠㅠ 네가 내 최애라는 것도 운명같고 너 같은 사람 만난 것도 기적이자 선물이다 정말 너무 고마워
