My best explanation for the whole Type-Type/Emerald Multi-Attack thing is that type interactions are stored as 4-bit values, ie. 0-15. Having a x16 interaction loops the value back in on itself to x0, BUT since it isn't considered a type immunity and the minimum amount of damage dealt needs to be 1, it just deals 1 damage.

I love that they found a way to make baby pokemon a viable alternative to their relatives & they used one of my favorite pokemon to do it. I also like that they gave it a babality.

Imagine a combination between this and Infinite Fusion, where Fusions get new types. Imagine the _chaos_ that'd result in!
Edit: I'm disappointed that the battlefield getting groovy doesn't result in Miror B's theme playing. Like, really?

This is the one game where your rival would be completely justified in being surprised you know the type matchups by heart

I don't know what type I'd add, but I would add the move "too many types" a type type move that sets a room/terrain that makes all types neutrally effective to each other for 5 turns.

You asked for type suggestions at the end. I couldn't think of anything, but shared this vid with a friend and they said immediately said "food type" which I'm honestly surprised isn't in this! Food type would be good for pokemon like Vanilluxe, Appletun, or even Tropius because his bananas. Or if you just want to do something cursed add like, Milk Type for Milktank.

Man a hardcore nuzlocke on this version sounds absolutely nightmarish! But I wanna applaud the modders, they had lots of fun and made us laugh a lot!

Does anyone happen to have an entire list of the types added? I’m tempted to personally make an eeveelution for each one.
Also, I would totally add a food or snack type, with it being added to Pokémon that functionally are just living food (see; Alcremie, Vanillite, Sinistea), or Pokémon that are canonically eaten in some way (see; Slowpoke, Appleton, Cherubi).
Maybe it reacts to conditions (like Burned or Frozen), or has a special way of interacting with its secondary typing (for example, the burned condition would be great at dealing with a Food/Ice type, or something.)

The addition of a "joke" Baby type that's weak to everything, only to Uno Reverse it into the most powerful type in the Champion battle, is true storytelling genius

Light type, Evil type, Holy type, Time type, but one I’ve genuinely been wanting for a while is a sound type. There’s already a fair share of sound-based mons

If you want a new type, here's one: Sad :( type.
It multiplies any liquid based or sad themed move by three.
If I knew the moves, I'd definitely give an example, but Cubone and Marowak are definitely Sad :( type potential.

Seriously, I have like 10 years of boring corporate programmer experience and a ton of python scripts to automate junk, but goddamn does this look much more fufilling

Here's some ideas.
Dargon type. Its icon looks exactly the same as Dragon with a typo, but the left half of its type matchup chart is mirrored horizontally.
Chill type, for the pokemon that you just wanna hang with.
As a reflection of Sharp, there's Blunt type, which could refer either to blunt weapons like rocks and fists, or weed.
First type, given only to the first pokemon of each region's dex.
Nice type, given to pokemon with 69 in their dex entry.

A type I’d love to see if they added Pokémon from way later games like B/W is ‘object’ because a lot of the Pokémon are just items or objects, so chandelure being under object makes the most sense

Uno-reverse baby is kinda a genius idea. Make a type that's the least scary into the the most terrifying.

The amount of disappointment when vaporeon had acid armour really had me realise “hey,this was once one of his favourite,Pokémon must suck it’s now been destroyed by funny msg site”

This must have taken an insane amount of work, but it also looks insanely fun!

this and Pokémon fusions would go so hard but I also just gotta imagine all the work that would have to be put into it being the artwork of the fusions and possible new moves or even more types but it would be amazing

Finally got to watch the video after it taking me 6 attempts to beat the game because Flannery and Wattson stomped me over n over! Since it wasn't shown I also wanna mention, not only is grass effective against Gamer, Gamer moves can't hit grass type. Love that interaction.

I played this rom and i have to say, probably one of the most fun pokemon experiences ive ever had. It feels like the first time you play the series at all, because you know practically nothing, and it's so fun to learn it.

I love the amount of thought put into the types. Like, the fact that Azurill and Marill are gender type references the fact that up until gen 6, 1/3 female Azurill would become male Marill upon evolving due to their gender ratios being different. I love the thoroughness of it all.

This was awesome! Must taken forever to make. Congrats! Idea: ??? Type: all moves targeting them have a 25% to do the opposite of what they’re intended to do. Healing moves hurt, stat lowering moves increase stats, etc.

I’d add the “Real” type. It resists all the new types, but is weak to the original 18. It’s super effective against the new types and is weak to the original 18 types as well.

I think there should be a Cute type which is the opposite of the Ugly type. Also perhaps an Interesting type to parallel Boring (it could apply to pokemon like Eevee and others who require Evolution stones, maybe?)

This was amazing, I love the thought processes at work. Personal note; I am cursed with seeing crabs everywhere I go, almost every day. So while I accept I see them when watching a cooking show or a program about the ocean where it's bound to happen, I am now cursed with this; Crab Type. So, thanks for that I guess. (Who knew Machamp was a crab?)

I was wondering why Sudowoodo was Furry type and then I remembered that Jacob defines furbait Pokemon as any Pokemon that can properly wear a hoodie and Sudowoodo applies to that. This mod is amazing

You should add a Uno wild card type. It makes the Pokémon Water, Fire, Grass, and Electric all at once while giving the Pokémon up to 8 capacity for moves. Two wild card type moves are +4. It skips the opposing Pokémon’s next turn, and boosts their atk up. And another type being choose. The choice A would be (you pick) and choice B would be take 2500 dmg.

here's a suggestion: Happy type, where in if your Pokedex number is a happy number, you have the happy type. Happy numbers are numbers such that when you take the sum of the squares of each digit in the number you get 1. and you keep doing sum of squares for each number you get until either you get 1, or you get the infinite pattern 20, 4, 16, 37, 58, 89, 145, 42, 20...
The first four happy numbers are 1, 7, 10, 13, ...

This is actually the experience game freak intended. You read all the garbage about matchups that seem obvious, but then quickly see there's combinations going on that you hadn't accounted for. After battling once though, it throws you the 'super effective/effective/not very effective' subtext so you dont have to remember every single pokemon
