Stop grouping all Asians into one. We are not the same. Sonny and dad are 100% Korean. They do what works for them based on cultural and personal preferences. Go do your own thing based on your own culture. Korean culture like all other cultures is unique. This is not strict for Koreans. We appreciate it when someone we completely trust manages our life for us.For Koreans, a child's success, no matter the age, is dependent on the parents' participation. His father is not doing as a father but as a football career mentor. He mentioned several times that he never touch personal area other than soccer career related area. And Son might not be in current position without his support, living abroad alone in such a long time without any language and mental readiness at the beginning. I know some of you might not understand but also we need to think about the sacrifice his dad did for him. Basically there is no personal life for his dad
