Contractions to me felt like my entire body was being shredded inside. It was absolutely horrible. Unfortunately we can't really describe the pain because everyone has a different level of tolerance. For some people it's unbearable and some they have little to no pain. Lucky women.

I can only imagine how hard it is to post something like this! Thanks for making kt so raw and real

I think my husband would have been so good at helping me through childbirth. Our first born was sitting on her bottom facing my back so c-section for me. It was all good, the cord was also wrapped around her neck so it all worked out for the best. Of my 4 children only 1 was what you would term a "normal" delivery story that would have resulted in a live birth if I hadn't had c-sections. Things happen for a reason. Congrats! You did an amazing job!

Contractions remind me of the cramps you get with having diarrhea before you explode, except on another pain level that can’t be described.
