I understand what she’s talking about my husband had a brain stem stroke at age70 he’s paralyzed from nose down. With therapy his right hand works and he has movement in the right leg but he can’t stand on it. I am a sole caregiver for my husband and i always say that as hard as it is taking care of him 24 seven I love my life with him. In the past five years i have cried and asked God why but not anymore. I am grateful to God that he is still with us. Every day is a joy being with one another and doing things together like sitting under the Japanese maple shade tree and listening To Dave Ramsey on his trusty Radio or just sit next to each other and hold hands watching TV and every so often tell each other I love you. Life is good and we are grateful for our beautiful daughter and her family. We could not have gone through this without their help and loving support in every way. 😉 we are truly blessed.

Her positivity has made me see life in a completely different way. I'm 18 and have dealt with depression for years and I've survived 3 suicide attempts. The fact that she is battling cancer but is still so postive and not letting it get in the way of her dream is truly inspiring and when she said "you can't wait until life isn't hard anymore before you decide to be happy" it was one of the most inspiring things I've ever heard. This girl has literally changed my life and made me see life in a completely different way.
