@Zac Atkinson She means you start to get how he judges certain singers. You can tell by Simon's face and expressions, he is really concentrating and listening to the music and harmony. It's the best way to judge singers. He mainly does this since he specializes in record deals and stuff. If he's got that strong look of concentration, usually that's a good thing. He definitely was pleased with this performance.
That was my exact same thought. At one point, when there was a close up shot of him, it looked like he wasn't amused and was just waiting for it to end. Then when he gave the thumbs up and was standing and clapping, I was confused. I guess he was just not trying to let anyone knew he loved it until their performance was over. But I have seen the video of them singing this in the stairway on KRplus before this video. They are all 3 amazing

It's acting. The whole thing is. That's why so many watch. The performers get told most of what to say and the judges are prepared. It's funny people don't know/understand this.
If you ever watch a contestant video they'll say that it is often much worse than how its edited. I wish they were kinder, think Susan Boyle, but 2-300 people is a lot to listen to.

This didn’t even do them justice. When they sing acapella you can really hear just how juicy those harmonies are.

T3 is awesome!!! Their pitch is perfect, their harmonies on point! I hope they go far in this competition.
As a first soprano who has had the honor of singing on the altar of St Patrick's Cathedral in New York City, I can honestly say these guys are amazing. Their harmonies are spot-on. Probably three of the best Tenors I have ever heard, and I have worked with a lot of tenors. Also speaking as a drummer and fellow vocalist their composure with this having been the first time they sang in front of a large audience on a large stage was amazing. I just don't have enough good words for these guys. I wish them all the best.

Funny how some comments are like, "...I hope they stop pre-judging!" Guys, they're called JUDGES and it's their job! They can judge based on appearance, backstory, etc. The whole point is that their decision should be based on the talent AFTER the performance!!!!
