- A former Philippine Supreme Court spokesman doubts the petition for a gag order against media giant, ABS-CBN will succeed. Theodore Te says the Supreme Court will have to play a delicate balancing act, as he notes the petition against ABS-CBN presents a unique case being an entity engaged in the business of information. He points out, silencing it will raise the question on the constitutional guarantee of freedom of the press and of expression.

if the networks want to solicit legal opinion regarding QW, they should choose to those lawyers who have no connection or known to be supporters of ABSCBN to make sure that their legal opinions are credible and the public would not conclude that their opinions are not questionable.

Have you ever wondered what would happen of the supreme court grants the quo warranto petition of solgen Calida en toto? Their pending franchise renewal in Congress will be dead. Why because one of the issues raised by the solgen is foreign ownership. It would then be illegal for congress to grant abs-cbn a franchise in violation of the constitution which prohibits foreign ownership in broadcast media.

This guy is known to be biased but they invited to give his opinion which is favorable to ABSCBN. When Sereno was removed he defended Sereno but he was not correct in his opinion since Sereno was removed from office. Kung baga palpak yung opinion niya.
