I was afraid I wouldn’t get good at music bc I started too late, but knowing you can start anytime as long as you try hard enough and don’t give up is a HUGE relief
lovejoy starting is pretty funny ig, Mark(the drummer) was actually in a heavy metal band thats where his drumming abilities came from. Ash(the bassist) was a friend of James Marriott and still is to this day.
I know, right? I mean, learning an instrument just takes a lot of self discipline and commitment, and clearly Wilbur has that. He was the reason I decided to start learning guitar, and at first I did not have the discipline to teach myself (off of KRplus- not recommended) and remember to practice every day, but I picked it back up again recently and it's just familiar and fun, and I hope I can get really good some day.
i want to give wilbur a hug so bad. i am so proud of him for how far his career is going, and i cant wait to follow him along the journey that still awaits. keep it up bossman, love you lots :D
I hardcore look up to Wilbur, not just content-wise, but the way he treats his fans and stays so grounded and humble with all he's done. Personally I somewhat view him like an older brother type figure (nobody attack me in the replies, I've never met him and i'm not being childish), he just gives those older brother comfort vibes for me. I love how Anthony's interviews aren't as awkward or weird like some others. It's amazing how he fits his personality to fit the person who's getting interviewed
Wilbur is the kind of guy who would give such nice hugs but would just throw things at you out of affection. Like Markiplier flipping off his fans and they do it back kinda vibes. We all literally call this man a rat sometimes and I love that energy we have. He’s so self aware of himself and knows how things will go, aware of situations where he’s damned no matter what he does so he does what he wants. I also love when he had that moment of wondering what controversy Anthony was bringing up since he genuinely isn’t that problematic. Anthony is also so respectful to everyone he interviews it’s so lovely to see him so engaged and also listening to what they have to say and asking good questions.
As a teenager living between film production and music production (also a minecraft kid), I seriously look up to him alot, like when im struggling whether i should do this or that, just listen to some wise words from him, a clear path just sets for me and it usually works out really well. This guy is amazing

I hadn't heard of Wilbur Soot before this, and I've never streamed or even owned a video game as an adult 😂 but I love his energy and how down to earth, genuine and funny he is. Seems like the kind of guy that I'd love to hang out with and make music or something. Obviously I'm under no illusion that would ever happen he just seems like a really cool chill guy and I respect that. Anthony there hasn't been a video in this series I haven't enjoyed or learnt from in some way, so thank you ☮️

Fun story about lovejoy. I already knew Wilbur was in a band and had actually been waiting for them to come out with their music. Then I came across some of their songs and was immediately loved it and added them to my playlists… and only after adding it and listening to it a few times did i realize that it was my absolute favorite youtubers music
It’s so inspiring how humble, mature, optimistic, and matter-of-fact Wilbur is. It’s also cool that even though he’s best know for his SMP stuff, his music is genuinely really good by itself
I love how he respects the people he interviews so much. Some interviews (not naming names) don't know what is okay to say and ask and what isn't. It really is a talent, being able to understand people in that way.
Watching this a year later and hearing wilbur say he wants to do gigs and feel the crowd sing back to him, when he just performed in front of 10.000 people feels so...weird. I'm so proud of him
Anthony Padilla one of the most straight-forward and wholesome host in this talk show. On the other it's a nice change of pace to see what is the life of Wilbur soot behind the prying eyes and camera lens. I am excited to see more of his contents along with Anthony Padilla on the future.

I always thought he was kinda off back from the SootHouse days, and never understood the appeal with Lovejoy, but I didn't expect for a minute something like this would go down. I watched his random streams and his non-DSMP Minecraft stuff, and before all the allegations came out it was impossible to anticipate the extent of everything he's done, no matter how obvious hindsight would lead you to believe it was. lovejoy starting is pretty funny ig, Mark(the drummer) was actually in a heavy metal band thats where his drumming abilities came from. Ash(the bassist) was a friend of James Marriott and still is to this day.
I know, right? I mean, learning an instrument just takes a lot of self discipline and commitment, and clearly Wilbur has that. He was the reason I decided to start learning guitar, and at first I did not have the discipline to teach myself (off of KRplus- not recommended) and remember to practice every day, but I picked it back up again recently and it's just familiar and fun, and I hope I can get really good some day.
i want to give wilbur a hug so bad. i am so proud of him for how far his career is going, and i cant wait to follow him along the journey that still awaits. keep it up bossman, love you lots :D

I hardcore look up to Wilbur, not just content-wise, but the way he treats his fans and stays so grounded and humble with all he's done. Personally I somewhat view him like an older brother type figure (nobody attack me in the replies, I've never met him and i'm not being childish), he just gives those older brother comfort vibes for me. There's probably no way he's reading this, but if he is, thank you Wilbur. Thank you for picking up a camera, thank you for picking up that ukulele, thank you for starting streaming to join a server, thank you for joining Dream SMP, thank you for forming Lovejoy, and most importantly, thank you for just being yourself.

Wilbur is the kind of guy who would give such nice hugs but would just throw things at you out of affection. Like Markiplier flipping off his fans and they do it back kinda vibes. We all literally call this man a rat sometimes and I love that energy we have.
He’s so self aware of himself and knows how things will go, aware of situations where he’s damned no matter what he does so he does what he wants.
I also love when he had that moment of wondering what controversy Anthony was bringing up since he genuinely isn’t that problematic.
Anthony is also so respectful to everyone he interviews it’s so lovely to see him so engaged and also listening to what they have to say and asking good questions.

As a teenager living between film production and music production (also a minecraft kid), I seriously look up to him alot, like when im struggling whether i should do this or that, just listen to some wise words from him, a clear path just sets for me and it usually works out really well. I hadn't heard of Wilbur Soot before this, and I've never streamed or even owned a video game as an adult 😂 but I love his energy and how down to earth, genuine and funny he is. Seems like the kind of guy that I'd love to hang out with and make music or something. Obviously I'm under no illusion that would ever happen he just seems like a really cool chill guy and I respect that.
Anthony there hasn't been a video in this series I haven't enjoyed or learnt from in some way, so thank you ☮️

you should check out his music! his band Lovejoy is really good but he also has some solo stuff just under the name Wilbur Soot and then Wilbur Music has his joke songs he was talking about.

Fun story about lovejoy. I already knew Wilbur was in a band and had actually been waiting for them to come out with their music. Then I came across some of their songs and was immediately loved it and added them to my playlists… and only after adding it and listening to it a few times did i realize that it was my absolute favorite youtubers music
It’s so inspiring how humble, mature, optimistic, and matter-of-fact Wilbur is. It’s also cool that even though he’s best know for his SMP stuff, his music is genuinely really good by itself

I love how he respects the people he interviews so much. Some interviews (not naming names) don't know what is okay to say and ask and what isn't. It really is a talent, being able to understand people in that way.
Watching this a year later and hearing wilbur say he wants to do gigs and feel the crowd sing back to him, when he just performed in front of 10.000 people feels so...weird. I'm so proud of him

Anthony Padilla one of the most straight-forward and wholesome host in this talk show. On the other it's a nice change of pace to see what is the life of Wilbur soot behind the prying eyes and camera lens. I am excited to see more of his contents along with Anthony Padilla on the future.

I always thought he was kinda off back from the SootHouse days, and never understood the appeal with Lovejoy, but I didn't expect for a minute something like this would go down.
I watched his random streams and his non-DSMP Minecraft stuff, and before all the allegations came out it was impossible to anticipate the extent of everything he's done, no matter how obvious hindsight would lead you to believe it was.
You never truly know the scoop on these e-celebs until it's too late. Please don't beat yourself up about it.
