Texas is also often pretty hot still Setptember into October, so it wasn't at all the nice cold weather it would be in Germany for example, where I now live. My first fourth of July in Germany was CHILLY! All this to say yeah I had to wear masks through thick and thin, only last year in Berlin did the public transport lift the mask requirement. Ugh all the mask discourse was/is so dumb, people forget about the healthcare workers who had to go full Hazmat, a mask is not hard to wear

Anthony should do people with Stutters, I personally have one and I donโt know anyone in real life that also has one. It would be interesting to see what other people in the Stuttering Community feel about things (also to people in the comments that are saying itโs not that uncommon, it only occurs in 1% of people. So I believe it is uncommon enough to get some spotlight. Also people with stutters usually feel secluded and alone so it would be helpful for them to know they arenโt alone)
Is it possible to extend that to people with speech impediments? I have a problem saying 'r' even after years of speech therapy. It'd be interesting to see other people with my problem

i have always wanted to learn more about conjoined twins but every documentary i found had the narrator talking as if these people were aliens or something. its nice to hear about conjoined twins FROM conjoined twins
yes! ive been trying to look into them, but its all stuff from a purely scientific perspective. idc about that, i wanna know what theyre lives are like, how they feel, all the strange details that i wouldnt have thought about on my own. i want to know what its like to be a human thats attached to another human, i dont want to go to a freak show! off topic, but carmen and lupita also have a video on the yt channel Special Books for Special Kids if youre interested. chris asks different questions than anthony, but the overall vibe of his channel is similar to anthony's so i think youd enjoy it

This is why I love the hell out of this series and respect Anthony for doing it. It was the same thing for DID, everywhere I went to find out what it's like to have it, it's just DSM-5 excerpts and statistics and medical journal articles listing symptoms. But watching Anthony's video on it opened my eyes to the condition way more and helped me understand people with DID a whole lot better. I am a man of science, but sometimes there are better ways to learn about something than with numbers.
Wtf? Where were you looking cause there's a lot of great documentaries out there. The most interesting cases in the world are Abby and Brittany Hensel and Krista and Tatiana Hogan. There's plenty of good content to watch on both sets of twins.
@slug the goblin Sounds like you kinda do want to go to a freak show cause you're not considering how actual humans think and express themselves. They've never experienced anything different than what they're living now. You couldn't accurately tell us how different it is to be a single born person compared to being a conjoined person cause you've never been conjoined. You don't think about that on any regular basis cause that's not your reality. Why would you expect them to go about life thinking how different being conjoined is when to them it's normal. They're people, not exhibits. They have showed how they live so that should be enough.

This is my first time watching your vid. I love how you interviewed them, so respectful and they looked so calm.
What Carmen said about basic human decency is so important. When it comes to disability, especially visible disabilities, people seem to forget that they're seeing fellow human beings. Disabled people are not attractions or information booths, they're people. If you're so curious about that person's condition you can either look it up on the internet or try to approach that person as you'd anyone else: with respect. Also, a lot of the questions people usually make themselves about disabled people boil down to "how can you live like that?" and the simplest answer is because they have no other choice. Human beings adapt to the life they live.
This is the most truest thing that has been said in humanity at this very moment lmao
I love this but remember that they are not โdisabledโ they have the ability to do things just maybe a little differently.
McKenna Bagger I am disabled and the reason I donโt like people calling me โdifferently abledโ or something similar (and many of my disabled friends feel the same way) is because it sort of minimizes the challenges that we face. There are many things that Iโve learned how to do in my own way, but there are also things that I canโt physically do, and never will be able to do. โDisabledโ simply means to be physically or mentally limited in some way (physically, in my case), which is accurate. Thereโs nothing wrong with it and the term โdisabledโ isnโt something that people should be scared of or uncomfortable with. I certainly donโt speak for everyone with disabilities though. This is just how I feel about it and something Iโve discussed with my disabled friends. And this is not meant to offend anyone, just to share the perspective of someone who has a disability ๐
Also, they are used to living that way. Iโve learned for example that people who were born blind have less regrets about it because they donโt know what theyโre missing out on.
One of my struggles with having an invisible disability is people refuse to acknowledge that I struggle with certain things, or refuse to acknowledge I even am disabled and try to prove that I don't experience oppression, or that I'm not disabled.

I haven't seen Anthony since the early years of SMOSH. I didn't know they split up and he has his channel, but I'm impressed with his interviewing skills. Asking such interesting questions without being rude! Great job!
On the subject of people taking pictures without asking, I think it's a plague in our society. Everyone is trying to upload content to social media, even if it is at other people's expense.

Anthony risks his entire career with these vids he could slip up the tiniest bit and say something controversial respect
He does a lot of research and educates himself correctly, thatโs why he isnโt afraid to slip up.
And editing. if he does, he could just apologize to them and cut it out.
His intentions behind the interviews shines through. Heโs not trying to make a spectacle and exploit people, he wants to give them a platform from which they can be themselves and let his audience see that their preconceptions should be questioned. You can see by the way his interviewees react to him that heโs great at forging a connection.
I think this all mitigates the risk. In my experience, if someone who is genuine offends you accidentally, you wonโt make a big thing out of it.
Honestly he's epic even if he says something wrong I'm sure he'll truly apologize and hopefully everyone would be cool with it

I love how Anthony seems like he talks to all of his guests like they're just old friends. I'm sure it makes especially the harder subjects much easier to talk about.

Watching Anthony interview many people with different issues or previous experiences has shown me what courteous professionalism looks like. Heโs very selective with the words he uses so as not to offend anyone. IIRC, he doesnโt use the term โnormalโ when regarding people with lifestyles that would be considered standard

My little cousins were actually conjoined twins. They were found in a ditch in China and brought to an orphanage. My Aunt and Uncle adopted them and got them separated in China. Theyโre now 7 years old and happy little girls ๐๐

I havent finished the video yet, but i can already tell this condition was extremely hard to cover. I feel like some questions were just... Unnecessary because they were obvious. Amazed at how Anthony covers these stories and gets the information out.

Anthony is a gem. He covers topics that not everyone would like to cover. Not that the topics are bad, but they're highly sensitive and not many feel comfortable displaying this "content". He introduces these beautiful people to break the level of discomfort or nervousness. He wants us to understand that the individuals being interviewed are no different from what we define "normal". This understanding allows us to look at a person for who they are, and not be define by their disability, social status, or religion.
Also he does this knowing most of these topics wonโt get Monetized! That says something way stronger about his character!
