Nuzlocke Rules:
-Fainted Pokemon must be permanently boxed
-Only the first encounter on any given route may be caught (dupes clause)
-All pokemon must be nicknamed
Hardcore Rules:
-Always Set mode
-No items from the bag option in battle (held items are ok)
-No overleveling the next gym leader
Personal Rules:
-No setup moves
-No Dynamax

Gen 9 has the strongest first stage. I cant come up with the best final stages BUT I do think gen 3 has the most considtantly good starters!

The last time you completed a hardcore Nuzlocke without losing any Pokémon was in that Fighting Type Nuzlocke you did in Pokemon Violet 10 months ago. Also, it was very funny how you kept on calling Drednaw ‘Duraludon’ during the Water Type Gym😂

Seeing the Quagsire carry in the 2nd Raihan fight made me really wanna see a Scar/Vi run with Ground or Poison to see the Clodsire Sweep(s) that would definitely for sure happen. 100%.

I'm actually shocked antlerboy hasn't done a hardcore sun or moon psychic run
Because if he did it, It would be hellish, trust me, I have Pokemon Sun, and he could die easily without even a chance and even with the lvl cap, a example being one of the other nuzlockers ended up dying in the nuzlocke instantly and had to get a NPC to do the luckiest bad moveset just to get past it. Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon is even harder than Sun and Moon which explains why he probably doesn't do them.

I now see barraskewda in an even more positive light, though I am still surprised that he picked it over lapras which can be found in the same area.
1:40 "With [Shell Smash], I'm pretty sure Cloyster could tear through the entire game on its own." That sounds like a good challenge idea. Maybe raise the level cap one or two for some of the trickier fights or allow accidental/unavoidable over-leveling and I could see it happen deathless.

Hey Axl , i have a new rule for your run that is , in the next run for all the boss fight you are supposed to bring the same number of pokemon as the boss fight that is if your opponent has 2 pokemon you also have to use 2 pokemon and also in totem fights you are supposed to use only one pokemon . I would love to see you do a pokemon ultramoon hardcore nuzlocke using only ghost types . I love your videos .

I had two nuzlocke ideas pop into my head; A Fire type nuzlocke with the naming convention being fire & sun gods from various mythologies or a steel type nuzlocke with names from Norse mythology. Preferably from a ROM hack game.

No, but starters should be. They have fixed abilities that arent special at all (non hidden) and mons like Serperior (without contrary), samurott, heck even the johto starters and sceptile to some extent are not particularly unique.
If starters had their hidden abilities when you pick them monotypes would be fine. Libero means having a dual type doesnt matter. Grassy surge on Rillaboom is epic and makes it really unique.

@@-BenGaming-Fair. The gen 9 starters might be “too good”. I kind of like broken starters, though. I wasn’t crazy about gen 9s designs when they came out, but I really like almost of them after using them. They perform so well it’s impossible not to like them. In gen 8 I’d rather use any other good dual type
