Was in Beijing this month, and it is amazing how quickly this city keeps on evolving... more impressive by the day, and very safe. As a European one is no longer used to see women alone on the street in a city after dark, but in Beijing that's nothing special.

Thank you for this snapshot of Beijing. I had my 10 yo dream to experience the Forbidden City in 2017 and I was blown away in awe & bliss. Visiting Beijing, Changsha & Zhangjiajie blew me away. The people, culture, sites (traditional & modern) were amazing, clean & safe. What the media says about beautiful China & what I experienced were completely different. Throughout my travels to Spain, Italy, Egypt, Israel, Mexico, Canada, USA & China, I noticed we all have these common desires to seek peace, friendship, safety, love, family & want to make our community better for the next generation. I am so grateful to national governments that open their doors to allow foreigners to experience the past, present & future of a new culture for themselves. This enables foreigners to form their own opinions instead of relying on the opinions of others who have their own agenda & usually have not visited the country themself.

China made solemn representations and withdrew its ambassador to Lithuania. The first time I watched this video I was 19, just a few days before leaving my hometown to study abroad in Beijing. I was scared out of my mind about what i signed up for. Watching this video showed me what was to come and turned my anxiety into excitement.
