i know mvs can be interpreted differently but i took it as a message of being your own angel. only you know the hardships and pain that you go through. as hard as it is, sometimes you just have to remember to take care of yourself through the hardships and pain, even when it’s hard. as someone with anxiety and depression, this song feels like a warm hug and pinch of the cheek-a reminder that things will get better.

In my opinion, the meaning behind the music video is that every child or teenager who suffers, has an angel taking care of them. This angel is the adult version of themselves. It's them but adults. We can't see them but they are next to us holding our hand and telling us it's going to be okay. Just like the scene where Lee-Hi sits next to the little girl, the adult version of every child/teenager who suffers is right beside them keeping them company whether it is a sleepless night or a very bad day. Thank you Lee-Hi for another masterpiece. You truly inspire the world.

She said the girl in the beginning in black and white dress (her current self) was making a bad decision (ending her life). So the angel version of herself goes back to the past to make good memories with the same girl (her younger self) in order to comfort her. So in the end her current self decides not to go through with it. So all 3 girls in the MV was actually her. She saved herself.

I remember when the summer this song came out. I went straight to KRplus and checked out the MV. And after that, I was obsessed with this song. I had it on every playlist and wrote down every piece of lyric. This song really resonated with me in a way that I can’t describe, but it leaves me warm. I can’t say things have gotten much better since this song come out and thins maybe have gotten worse in some ways. But the fact that I’m still here means that I haven’t given up and alone is enough for me to hope a little bit more. I usually read the lyrics to this song during hard nights and let it comfort me. I hope one day I will look back at this song and feel proud over myself that I’ve overcame the hardships. I’ve considered jumping off my life, but I feel a strange fondness over my body and my life. As scarred as they are, they’re still mine.

The hardest part comes afterwards when you have to make decisions and act. You have to know that whatever your decision, you will always be criticized. But that's okay. As long as you feel better, that's the main thing. That's how you accept yourself, that's how you realize the people who will support you and who love you just the way you are. You have to listen to your heart and say when it's going and when it is not going. You have to be honest with yourself.

When this song first came out I was in such a dark place and I didn't think anything could make me feel alive. But everytime I listen to this song I would feel at peace, like someone was giving me a warm hug, like it was a balm soothing my tired soul. It was like someone was telling me things are okay, that they see me and know what I'm going through. This is such a blessing and a beautiful work of art.

At the end of the mv, a single white feather means that a spirit from beyond is watching over you or that the person who is passed on is nearby. It also could mean that everything will be okay even tho it may not seem like it at the moment. I have a feeling the feather might be alluding to the passing of Jonghyun since Lee hi held him very close to her heart.

I just noticed these details:
At the very beginning Lee Hi is at the edge and the siren in the background is the sound of the paramedics, probably to save her from a suicide attempt.
So Lee Hi goes back to her childhood and meets her younger self and basically tells her that it will stop and that the things do get better. To love and value herself more. She is her own saviour, her own angel. And so at the end though her problems may still be there, she assures herself that it will end one day, that nothing is forever- not even the pains and the heartbreaks.

This is such a beautiful song and I can relate to it so much. I had such a hard time, fighting my own demons and struggling to find meaning in life. I always used to wonder if those thoughts and the hard times would even have an end like other people said. I thought it wouldn't end just for me. That the pain was forever.
But I fought through it and sometimes talked it out with friends, mostly wrote my feelings down and just focused on healing myself and I can now say that IT DOES GET BETTER. That those horribly dark days do have an end and sunshine will once again touch our lives.
It may get hard again in the future as that is just how life is, but this time I know it with all my heart that it does get better and it does end. I hope everyone will overcome their own demons too one day.

For those saying she's underrated or this song is underrated, she's doing very well in the charts in South Korea and is quite popular there. My theory of this perfect MV looks like this:Lee hi is an angel who protects a girl but not just any girl, this girl is Lee Hi when she was younger, in the scene where the girl throws herself into the water, she was trying to dr0wn, in the end, Lee Hi appears floating in the water showing just that. When she was younger in mv history, she tried to dr0wn but was saved by herself that when she became an angel she went back in time to save herself.

The white feather at the start and throughout has the symbolism of angels, protection and loved ones watching over you. I think of one person when I see that but I'm sure everyone can imagine their own person. Sometimes when going about my day I will come across a feather and I see that as a comfort that someone is watching over me and giving me strength to carry on.
