@@notwerkinginthishouse8634 no, I meant there's no references in the lyrics (not in the Korean parts, not in the English parts either), and the melody didn't feel like it was close enough. I meant that if there was a reference in the sound, I believe it would've been more explicit, easier to notice.
I've never seen any videos of Kendrick songs, I have only heard it so I can't give an opinion on it but I understood what you said.
In my opinion the visuals of the MV were relating to Uniform's lyrics. Also the idea of all looking exactly the same if you don't see the face.
Most of all, I believe the main reference in this was to Wonjae's way of dressing up and to black out, which is his album and his merch clothing line, which was mostly loose pants, t-shirts and hoodies in white, gray and black.
