In the past, young BI saw the young Hayi getting rained on and with a bleeding nose. He came to her and gave her a rose lollipop and a handkerchief, but he never offered his umbrella to her. He turned his back on her and left her soaked in the rain. This portrays how young love can give you pain as much as it makes u happy. Young BI wanted to do something to make her feel better but he wasn't willing to share her pain yet. When you're young and in love, there are still things you can't do for the one that you love, there are still responsibilities you're not ready to take, and commitments you're not ready to commit to. Young love scares you so you tend to run away before you can even do something about it, taking your regrets and leaving the one you love in the rain.
In the video, the development of their characters were evident. BI no longer left Hayi soaked and in pain, he wiped Hayi's blood himself, gave her the lollipop and this time too, he gave his umbrella to her, he let himself get soaked, and even smeared his own nose with blood. He was no longer the same kid as before. Their love matured. Their love grew. He was willing to bare the pain of the girl he loves.

Leehi's laughing expression when she saw Hanbin put fake nosebleed is so beautifully done. She was full of sadness but she genuinely thought it was funny, the expression showed like she's having a painfully funny moment.

Love their friendship. Glad to see B.I has such a loyal friend to him enough to not hide their friendship even after the scandal broke out. Everyone needs people like that in their lives.

This song explains how leehi never left hanbin's side and how she was in distress and pain when he was facing backlash and hate without any reason.. Many people betrayed him but she never did... That's true friendship ❤️

That line "your the savior that has come to ruin me" because since young he's always been there for her to protect her and make her feel better even in moments he too was sad he's still there. He's always by her side when she needs him and does everything for her but somehow that "ruins" her because she fell inlove with him, without saying it loud/addmiting it or confessing her feelings thus the line "you already have a piece of my heart which I never given to you". She also grow very dependent on him but they're grown up now and anything can happened even if he wants to always stay by her side they both know he can't always be there. So He's letting her proctect herself on her own, instead of holding the umbrella for her he assures her it's ok she can do it herself too. Istead of wiping away the nosebleed just like he used too, he made her laugh over it like it's no big deal, it's a part of her.

i feel like the adult lee hi is a ghost who died first because of her illness. when they were young hanbin used to wipe her nose with a napkin but during the part when he left her alone in the rain it seems like she eventually died and it was her funeral (black umbrella) hence all he could give was a lollipop (since there would be no use for an umbrella & napkin anymore). afterwards young hanbin was seen crying alone so i guess that was their goodbye until they reunited in the afterlife (at the church) which signified hanbin eventually died as well. at the dining table, lee hi’s nose was still bleeding and she’s continuously soaked wet since that was her “last moment” when she died as a kid (when hanbin left her under the rain) but now adult hanbin can already take care of her and give the umbrella & napkin he wasn’t able to before.

Savior is literally BIHI’s story.
Hanbin and Hayi has known each other since 2014, when they were both 18.
Two teenagers who struggled so much to achieve their dreams.
Hanbin was most probably there during Hayi first few debut years when she suffered from all the fatshaming and cyberbullying on her stoic expressions back then.
When Hanbin was struggling with all the survival shows that YG threw at him predebut, Hayi was there, held faith and performed a hiphop Let It Go together.
When Hayi struggled with YG’s lack of activities for her, I believe BI was there with her - therefore No One was released.
Now that BI struggles with his past mistake, Hayi was there with BI for Daydream and Savior.
I believe this is a song about soulmates. BIHI are soulmates who held on to each other in their turbulent industry. And I want all the happiness and safety for them both.

I can't describe how proud I am of LeeHi and B.I. This friendship is beyond beautiful. I'm just extremely happy and grateful. This song/MV is truly meaningful in every single way. And can we talk about the lyrics...like I have no words. Thank you for this masterpiece.

Leehi's nosebleed serves as her worries, flaws, and insecurities, and hanbin smearing it on his philtrum means he is willing to stay and share the burden leehi has been carrying. From when BI was a trainee being paired with Hayi, to now collaborating and playing a childhood love story. I'm so loving how their musical relationship has blossomed as their careers and artistry have blossomed.

The fact that Hanbin can lean on Hayi so openly. I’m sure his brothers in iKon are also there for him but since they’re under YG, they can’t exactly openly support him during this tough time. I’m glad AOMG gives Lee Hi the freedom to express herself and to collab with whoever she wants. This friendship is so lovely to watch.

I LITERALLY CAN STOP MY TEARS WHEN SEEING THIS. Its really beautiful and so touching. The mv, the song, the lyrics, especially Hanbin and LeeHi's friendship, they always being there for each others through ups and downs since their trainee days.

It's not just the lyrics that's beautiful but everything in this. Hayi and Hanbin having each other's back ever since before. And the mood and the way they storytell this is amazing. The song itself is beautiful and I've been playing it on loop for hours now

I don't know if this friendship will grow to something else or not but man these guys needs to keep each other as long as they can cause being this loyal in nowadays so rare. I love how the BiHi shippers are not forcing any romantic claims on them, everyone is all about their friendship and how loyal they are to each other. I admire the respect both fandoms have for this two, Kpop fandoms can be this beautiful if you think about it.

They both survived by saving each other and it's a relief to know that they lean on each other while the world is judging them. Lee Hi and Hanbin have grown into such a brave person and amazing artist.

This is their 3rd official collab song together, the circumstances, timing in which each song was released has its own impact and importance and so signifies the strong bond they have.. An indirect but in your face kind of declaration that even through the bad times, they have each others back.. What Hanbin and Hayi have is beautiful and so rare, and im glad they have each other.

This literally embodies the quote that opposite sex can be best friends its not necessarily them being in romantic relationships. The pure friendship literally radiates in the lyrics, its them telling *their story* a story of finding each other and being that emotional support which is not necessarily be given by a significant other only. A friend a true friendship where being their emotional support, staying by your side can also happen. Them being each other's *SAVIORS* . I just feel so elated that something so pure and a thing called friendship does exist in real life.

My theory for the MV is that actually Hayi died when she was younger, probably through a brain aneurysm ( which would explain the constant nosebleed) and the scene where Hanbin gave her a rose lollipop is more him standing at her grave and leaving while crying. This would also explain why we don't see an inbetween of their relationship. Now Hayi's a lost soul or angel ( white dress, symbolism of the church), praying and waiting for them to be reconnected again. The long table between them still separates them, at the end maybe Hanbin also died, crossing the path towards her and imitating the nosebleed. Now they're finally reunited.

she knew how much hate she'll get if she decides to support the feat. with B.I because of his ongoing controversy. and still she decided the publish everything and she did not apologize once. as she said, b.i is a very good friend and his may or may not drug use has shit to do with how much of a good friend and person he is and can be. I'm just so happy that they always had each other when they met at a young age and helped each other to go through tough times. I'm so proud,thank you.

When the MV started with Hayi holding the umbrella alone and ending it with them together under one umbrella only shows the loyalty and support they have for each other through the years. The fact that Hayi chose Hanbin for this song, MV's storyline, and lyrics is a clear message that no matter what, she will always be there for him. Call it friendship or love but this is one of the most beautiful relationship we have in the industry. This MV is so well thought from beginning to end! The time that we waited as Hayi's fans really paid off with this album! What an art!

Came for Hanbin but staying for Lee Hi. He knows her so well. He knows exactly what kind of song suits her best. This is simply perfect. I’m falling in love with her now

First scene, Hayi knew BI arrived at the church (afterlife) so she came looking for him. Notice how she’s looking around the empty church. She then prays. BI then walks in, and gives Hayi his “love” just like when they were young. She smiled when she saw him. (1:00) Looking at their expressions, it feels like they are meeting again after a long time.
It then showed their younger selves. My theory is that, BI broke Hayi’s heart in the past. Hayi’s prayed for BI to never leave her side, but he did.
“Will you able to stay by my side as long as I wish you to?”
Maybe when she told him that she’s going to die because of her illness, he left. Because he couldn’t bear the pain of seeing her health deteriorate. After all, he was just a kid. It was too much for him and walking away was the only thing he could do back then (2:40) “That you are the savior that has come to ruin me”
Then they met again in the afterlife. And this time he promised her that he will never leave her side. (1:34) Hayi still remembers the moment when he left her. And BI is just there standing by her side, assuring her he’s never leaving again. (1:54) In the scene where they’re having a meal, it’s evident that BI’s doing his best to make it up to her. Hayi still remembers the pain, she still feels the raindrops falling on her head when she looks at him. (2:17) BI stands up and wipes Hayi’s pain (raindrops) that was something he wasn’t able to do in the past when they parted.
Notice that BI always gives her both the lollipop & handkerchief. But when they parted, he only gave Hayi the lollipop in the rain, (1:25) symbolizing that he still loves her but he can no longer be there for her. Then present BI not only gave her the lollipop but also wipes the raindrops with the handkerchief.
(2:42) BI cries because he regrets what he has done in the past. And he knows she’s still healing from the pain he caused her, and that hurts him the most. The rap part is his love letter to her. He’s repenting and assuring her that it’s gonna be different now because they are together.
Followed by (3:35) BI smearing blood on his nose symbolizes that he’s now ready to take care of her, to make her happy and stay by her side just like she’s always wished for.
(3:47) The last scene, they are looking at their younger selves reminiscing the memories they shared. They’re both healing from the past, together. Forever.

It makes me happy that B.I. Has a Lee Hi and that Lee Hi has a B.I. For people who go through depression, anxiety, and severe hardships, a good friend who stands by you no matter what is like a precious lifeline. I can rest better knowing that the artists I like has friends that they can count on to weather the storm with them, and that there will be less chances of us hearing sad news that they gave up on life altogether because they felt forsaken and alone.
