SM founder (Lee Soo Man) scouted GD after seeing him dancing on stage. After 5 years being SM trainee, YG founder (Yang Hyun Suk) saw GD and persuaded him to leave SM and join YG. GD eventually signed a contract with YG since he’s very interested in hiphop. At the age 12, he became the YOUNGEST RAPPER ever debut and released few single and collaborated with YG Family rapper. From that age, YG told him to write song every night and YG monitored him. He supposed to form a hiphop duo with Taeyang but then YG told him to join survival show in order to debut as BIGBANG. He was so frustrated and didnt talk to Seungri for the straight 3 months. That small bean has been bullied at school just bc he is a celebrity and shortie Taeyang saved him. He’s very good to make girls in love with him but, he doesnt know how to keep the girl stay from leaving. His rs never worked, thats why BIGBANG songs are mostly sad 😭 At the age 18, GD became the youngest and first singer-songwriter even won Songwriter of the year with “Lies” in 2007. it does stand for "too much information," but Korean's don't use it in the same context as native english speakers. It's not used in the sense of sarcasm for something gross or weird to share. Koreans use it LITERALLY. As in, talking about stuff too in depth, or boring information people don't need to know about you.
