For anyone wondering, Lillian Peck was a billionaire who created and ran Olympus. Horizon and Peck were close friends and worked together alongside Dr. Reid. Peck was the only person who knew of Olympus's access code, but somehow Dr. Reid got ahold of it as well.
So Horizon was thinking that by using the access code (which I think she got from Pathfinder looking through Ash's memory core or something), she would wake up Lillian and get her friend back and get some answers to what happened to Olympus.
Turns out Ried also knew of the access code and instead wakes her up, which brought along her inner demon-Ash.
then why did dr reid appear good? cause that was dr reid she was talking to, not lilian, but dr reid is bad.

She’s struggling with her inner emotion. I don’t think it was her fault that horizon got released. I think she’s been struggling with some alter ego/corruption/trauma and ash is like the embodiment of her strong self.
My guess is the trauma mentioned when the doctors were debating transplanting her mind resulted in her personality splitting in 2

I really like the idea of having 2 people in the same body of the legends. I also really digged the psychological horror vibe they went for this. Imagine being Ashley just stuck to a robot chair watching everything her psychotic super powered robot alter ego does. And then some laps of her true self breaking out and overriding actions. Really cool lore Respawn team
They did their research for sure ..psychological horror is probably the worse kind ..

@@AriesZero Nah, no simulacra that we've seen in Titanfall or Apex have any mention of copies, their minds are imprinted onto the cranial structure of the simulacrum body itself and are too complex to be fully uploaded, then copied or duplicated elsewhere. Revenant himself is a special case because he isn't really a true simulacrum, just a brain in a jar sending and receiving data to and from his remote-controlled Revenant copies. That's why he has a "source-code" that Hammond was protecting, and why Revenant can't die while Ash alongside all other simulacra certainly can.

To be fair, Jack was never an untrained pilot. He always had the training, hence the TF2 Tutorial simulation, he just never trained with a Titan
You can say the same thing about all the other apex legends lol. Out of all of them, ash has the most experience lore wise and has been in the titanfall universe longer.

@@williamnield7133 they have given mixed responses. EA said that they never stopped respawn from making tf3 and respawn while saying never said it will not happen.
The detail in the ash cinematic was amazing, her as a Pilot grabbing the inside of the cockpit as she is getting ripped out and her arm coming off was great attention to detail.
That was Jack Cooper and BT who ripped her out of her Titan..

I'm aware of who did it and the cinematic, I'm talking about the details and attention paid to her as a pilot as in the arm she was holding on to the cockpit with to avoid being ripped out was separated from her body as she was pulled out.

That was amazing. They really conveyed how mentally traumatic it is to find out you’re a simulacrum. I can see why Revenant tried so hard to stop Horizon from awakening Ash. When even he doesn’t wish that kind of torment on someone, that’s how you know it’s bad.
Also props to the voice actor and sound designers for giving Ash’s simulacrum and human forms distinct voices.
I wished they animate that comics, Reve and Horazon fighting, reve saying i tried to save u from this.
So in the Halloween mode this is why this Reve make fun of him, tried to help

@@ArribaElMole Most of the comic storylines would make fantastic animations. I hope that eventually make them so the more casual fan base can get into the surprisingly cool story that’s being told through the seasons.
