- We won the north London derby with a dazzling display of first-half football at a sun-drenched Emirates Stadium to blow Tottenham away on Sunday.
We came into this game off the back of three successive wins, and with confidence returning we immediately stamped our authority on the game.
With Granit Xhaka and Thomas Partey snapping into tackles, and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang fired up and making his presence felt, we unsettled the visitors all over the park.
Roared on by an incredible atmosphere inside Emirates Stadium, we took the lead with a goal made in Hale End as Bukayo Saka picked out Emile Smith Rowe in the area and the 21-year-old slotted home to spark jubilant celebrations.
Partey then saw a goalbound shot palmed around the post by Hugo Lloris as we continued to pile on the pressure, but the Tottenham goalkeeper could do nothing about our second.
Surely already a contender for goal of the season, the move started from the back as Xhaka did well to turn out of pressure on the edge of his area, launching a slick counter attack involving Martin Odegaard, Kieran Tierney, Aubameyang and Smith Rowe.
Our captain played the opening goalscorer into space with a superb flick and Smith Rowe raced into the area, before cutting the ball back to Aubameyang to finish left footed - and the forward celebrated a la Thierry Henry in the corner.
It was just reward for a team performance full of energy, endeavour and quality - and we didn’t have long to wait for our third as our Hale End graduates combined again.
This time Smith Rowe collected the ball in his own half, and played the ball into space on the right for Saka. The England international raced at goal, and after being tackled by Harry Kane in the area, the ball broke kindly for him and he slotted low beyond Lloris to make it three.
The visitors struggled to mount a response before the interval, although Kane did head inches wide from a corner but they did pose more of a threat after half time.
Aaron Ramsdale had to be alert to palm away a Kane shot, and then minutes later the England captain lifted a shot over our goalkeeper but it drifted wide.
But back we came, with the irrepressible Saka cutting in from the right and calling Lloris into action again with a curling shot.
Son pulled one back for the visitors towards the end, but it did little to take the gloss off a fine afternoon in N5 as we made it four wins on the bounce.

Look at ramsdale expression after conceding his first goal even knowing that we lead 3-0. I like his mentality, really aiming for clean-sheet, also he still young, the future is bright lads.
The ball landed in his palm but the power of the shot was just too strong. Showing how good his reflexes is.
Guy is great with his reflexes.. especially with the crucial save that denied the Spurs a second goal

Loving the play, the eagerness, the work rate, and all of it. Tomiyasu was brilliant, Odegaard was pulling the strings, Saka and ESR have that fantastic chemistry, Auba finally are having the joy. All of them were lovely to watch. I'm loving it 👍👍♥️♥️♥️

The atmosphere at Emirates was just enough for a victory. Apart from bravery in Arsenal players the presence of Henry the legend assured it.
It wasn't just Henry that was present both Vieirra and Daniel EK were also in attendance

This reminded me of Arsene Wenger's Arsenal! Youngsters trusted and shining, beautiful attacking football and clear ideas without too much complication. No back 4 turning to a 3, just what makes sense and what's needed. I wish we took them back to the days of the 5s under Wenger but a 3 made me happy enough. Wish we managed to keep a clean sheet though, but life isn't that generous.
Actually our back 4 turns into a back 3 all the time. When tierney attacks, Tomi plays at rcb, when Tomi attacks, tierney plays at lcb, when both of them attack, xhaka drops behind at lcb
@@shendshillova6872 Not in this game. The build up didn't take long. We were more direct and both full backs went and came normally. In other games Kieran would live by their right back while we recycle the ball for ever. It was much more simple this time and it worked.

@@youknowit5925 Last year we did pretty good vs Top5 clubs, so it's just gonna be better this year. Earlier in the season we lost so many 1st team players vs CHE & MCI. We don't have the squad depth just yet, we still need more reinforcement to replace Elneny, Cedric, Pepe, Laca and many more. If we already had the depth like the oil clubs then you should demand more.

As a Spurs fan, I don't understand why Spurs didn't sign Tomiyasu even though he wanted to play for Spurs. He's been class since he joined Arsenal.
