Antonio is so sweet! And so empathetic. He's so young as well, he expresses how much he wishes Mirabel could have a door of her own because he sees how often she's sidelined and probably has heard and seen her be sad for years since living in the nursery. I wouldn't be surprised if she helped to look after him almost like being his nanny. Like, you know in a nanosecond that he'd give her her own room if he could. The others because they're older and that probably think of it as not her fate to have a door, mostly cos they're concerned with their own issues. He probably did try to convince Mirabel that he'd let her stay in his room if he got one. But Mirabel would've kindly rejected the offer saying that either Abuela wouldn't like it or that she couldn't possibly stay there forever since he may want to start a family one day.
I think he sees her more like a big sister than a nanny. that's their family dynamic. it's the same in my family too. I grew up with my nieces and nephews so I consider them my siblings.

Its a really small thing but at 1:02 the little gentle shoulder nudge thing Mirabel does to him is 100% something I've done for my younger sister to make sure she doesn't fall down or anything and I just thought it was really sweet
to be honest, Pepa's side of the family deserved more screen time in the movie. Since most of my favorites are in that side of the family, i would pretty much prefer to have an Encanto 2, or maybe even a series so that people would get to see them more and also know more about them
Antonio is the most dangerous character there. Why you ask ? Because he's so incredibly adorable that makes you wanna hug him, but then you won't ever want to leave 😂❤️
Antonio's dancing is super cute and when he comes to Mirable in the song all of you and when Mirable hug's Antonio before he gets his gift that is an unforgettable moment
