Hey man thanks for always being true. I think the system is fucked up from the get go. This in just a fraction of all the students on history that probably got to college the same way. Its just sad when very qualified people get rejected because "my mom knows a very important person or has a lot of money".

There are many, if not more loop holes for athletics, race, gender, and liberal political activists. A guaranteed spot if you are a politicians kid or former presidents kid. These people took advantage of loop holes that existed to keep college admissions "fair" and "diverse".
The parents were the ones who were smart and made the money, not the kids. The parents are doing something illegal, yes, but they're willing to do it because kids like these aren't smart and didn't have to work hard in their entire lives. The kids take advantage of the parents' coddling and their money as well. The girls must've finished high school and cried: "MOMMY, I'M TOO STUPID TO GET INTO COLLEGE. HELP ME! I HAVE A FRIEND WHOSE MOM PAYS THE UNIVERSITY. PLEEEEEEASE!" And the mother goes: "No, sweetie, you're not stupid. Wait here, I'll fix it for you, just like I've fixed EVERYTHING in your entire life. Money speaks, my dear, so don't worry." These parents are actually smart for bending the system, even if they're horrible people for taking the spots of students who actually want to be there. Many parents only care about their own kids.
I know “ rich people” who would never succumb to cheat their way in ... they have gotten to the top pillar by a hard work ethic. Do not peg all rich ppl as cheaters.
When I was in college I spent like 8 hours a day in the library studying to make sure I passed all my classes. I busted my ass to stay there and this chick bought her way in and acts like college is no big deal.
Maybe having no job will teach her some humility.

Someone like myself who is struggling all my life (its emotionally and mentally draining) with a learning disability it seriously ticks me off,seeing this.
I had to work twice as hard just to get decent grade ,not to mention people treating me like I was unintelligent as well as isolating me from them as well since I've started school at a young age,(also had to take speech classes for a few years too) (mange to get straight A at the very end of highschool btw from all the hard work I put through,didnt get to hangout with any friends always stuck doing schoolwork),I'm mad for the people who worked at least 3 or 4 times harder than that,to have it stirp from them like it was nothing.

With all the stress I’m going through with applications, ACT/SAT scores, recommendation letters and the amount of hours I’ve spent practicing and rehearsing since 6th grade, seeing this makes my skin crawl

I honestly don't get this? Like I don't understand how you would need to do that much to get into university. I'm from Germany so I probably just don't understand the American system.
I didn't even have to take a test to get in, as I had top grades in the subjects I picked. School was a breeze. University was stressful with many assignments, exams and papers, but the overall content was easy. What I want so say is that if you really had to work THIS hard from 6th grade onwards, university is probably not for you. Not everyone needs to go to university, but I understand that America doesn't offer many viable options. In Germany you could just do a 3-year vocational training and become a bank clerk or something like that.
@@chegu613 you need to work hard for scholarships to get into universities because they are expensive that's the tea. Most people working regular jobs can't afford the tuition. To get scholarships you need good grades plus good SAT/ACT scores and several other things.

Honestly getting into college is rough and it sucks! But I feel like people shouldn’t worry about it to the point of this happening!! I had awful AWFUL SAT scores but thankfully I went to a tech college my senior year of high school and half of my freshman year of college while I was figuring out what I wanted to do and you know what? I got a scholarship for academic levels! So basically if anyone young is watching this and freaking you’ll be ok trust me
Never went to College but all the experience at the games tailgating and drinking is really helping me these days.

This is nuts. I never went to college (it just wasn’t for me) and I’m so glad I didn’t.
The worst part is not even that she stole education from someone more deserving. It’s that she doesn’t even give a shit about school. She doesn’t care. It’s like stealing someone’s favorite designer dress and turning it into a rag to wipe spills and dirt off your kitchen floor. Or stealing someone’s money and setting it on fire. It’s unfair in every way. If you’re going to cheat your way into school the least you can do is be a good student.
