Alot of us are shamed, made to be seen as weak or called "gay" when we express our emotions. So for the most part.....we're stfu and suffer silently. But I'm proud of the brother, though. I can truly say that I have never been affected like this before by everything he's said and expressed. This was the jump start in my life that I needed. What a gift this man is. As a black man he hit me in corners of my being that I never knew I had. This was what I needed. Incredible....just incredible.

This is exactly whats wrong with this generation and society today. This man sat down and for over an hour spoke about large impactful issues. Love, cultural balances, mental health, physical health, self-love/help. True and deep down emotional things. He spent 5 mins on jada and thats the only thing ppl are talking about. I never followed, never listened to Alstina's music but thanks to Jada I and millions of others know who he is so he knew what he was doing. Here he's playing victim. Please. @@breadbutter4221 no disrespect, but I feel I should defend my boy. I'm not sure that was his intent. He didn't randomly plug her name into the discussion,the question was asked of him... Interviews with August are always minimal on specific discussion of another, but HONEST. He "respectfully" never name-dropped or exposed her even though people have asked questions about his love life and they were in a relationship and interacting in public. I think he described regression and emotional weight here to provide the lay of the land relative to reasoning and motive. Truthfully I believe he WAS a victim of that circumstance but I only hesitate to argue that perspective because I believe HE would probably say something like, "I'm a grown man. I made my own choices and I stand on them with no regret". His truth (and the telling of it) heals and will probably save/change the trajectory of lives. He wasn't malicious, insulting, or even specific. This was something that happened, that was not a secret to all parties involved or directly effected, and was real for him. I believe he spoke on it in the same manner he would if Jada was an unknown woman he had an "entanglement " with. More than all of that, the man has a fan base that supercedes some of the world's most beloved "mega-stars". I only KNOW my own heart, mind and intentions, but I have a great deal of faith that his was just breathing the same level of emotion and truth that it always has.

So I have been watching his past interviews and videos, I didnt follow him as an artist because when he came out the industry was over saturated with his style, tempo, music and so on. So I just stayed with chris brown for the time. What I discovered with him in particular is he came off cocky, confident, and about self... He continued to talk about how he dosen't have a problem gettin a chick or having sex for that matter , I mean he is handsome. He refers to being a side dude that come through lay pipe and keep it moving. He's not the loving type and so on. Well well well have karma caught up with him. He could never be so sure. The one he least expect sad to say someone else's woman has shown him who he really is. The sad part is he gave his all to a woman that could not be his . Another is he will NEVER love another woman who is deserving of his complete love becaus he gave it all away. It will take maybe 6years for him to feel that. Let's be honest were talking about a broken man here, and we as women knows how this goes. The fact that he made up his mind about never being with someone else if he was to die tomorrow, means he won't move on. If he's really woke he would see that this is a soul tie and not LOVE🤦♀️. Won't have to hide love or even have an exposure interview. Most people that need fixing that have money goes to Iyanla Vanzant 🤷♀️🤷♀️

I had to come back and listen closely to this interview. This young man has such a sweet spirit and an old soul. I went and subscribed to Apple just to hear his full album, and I’m going to purchase it as well. I raised my baby sister so to see him raise his nieces let’s me know he is all about family and love. The only unique thing about the “gossip” aspect is that it will bring those unexpectedly to some revelations from August’s testimonies. The documentary is wonderful. I think his future is even brighter, going forward, in spite of any negative things. At least he had the courage and resources to tell his own story and stand on his truth.

This man is speaking from his higher self. This is a man who is really in tune with his higher consciousness (that we all have by the way) and that’s why so many people are touched by the truth that he is expressing in this interview. The way he speaks about love, forgiveness, being in touch with his feelings, and so much more shows that he understands the laws of this universe. Not many people have this level of higher consciousness and for him to be so young and so transformed, I’m literally in awe. You have to go within yourself and expose what no longer serves you to become physically, spiritually, mentally, and emotionally liberated but what a lot of people don’t know is that is not easy at all. Especially being in the public, to keep know how to cleanse and protect your energy...I am honestly speechless and proud of him. August you are brilliant, everything you are speaking about was and will continue to be divinely orchestrated. Your story is beautiful because it shows a literal rebirth. That the number 1 thing that stood out for me in this interview! He seems like he's on spiritual journey and when you get to know God and he shows you who you are you have to break down and die to your former self to become the person he created you to be. We can't skip the process and people that have been through that process are able to understand others more.
We'll want certain people to be accountable for the things they did to you or the role they played in your life but that requires them digging into their past that made them the way they and not everyone is ready to unload that baggage. I pray that everyone will get to know our heavenly father and know that he already paid the ultimate sacrifice and wants us to lay our burdens down so he can begin our healing! 💜💜 this interview was Deep!!

Angela is one of August’s good friends that’s why. If he did this interview with anybody else the person would be looking at him foreign. Angela truly understands him and that’s why he picked her
August is the definition of a man... It is amazing to see that even as he has completely evolved, his change and growth are clear but the consistency of his core (his spirit... his heart) remains. Telling his truth to liberate not denigrate has been apparent throughout the years no matter what the background noise consisted of. I don't know that I have ever admired a man other than my father with this level of intesity. His genuine nature along with the fight he possesses even when he may feel taken aback in some way is inspiring. His nature gives me peace. Thank you August.

This is a very honest human being. He’s just speaking his truth, I feel he’s authentic and loving in his expressions. He was clearly at a troubled place when he and Jada began their relationship.
