• 2020 Car Lineups from ...
#1 2020 Acura Type S
The first ever high-performance Acura debuted under the Type S marque back in 2001, with a total 4 models being released in the next 7 years. In 2018, the brand announced the return of the division, finally unveiling the concept Acura Type S, which previews two 2020-2021 production models.
#2 2020 Acura RDX
2020 Acura RDX is the brand’s entry level crossover that came into being in 2007, continuously rising in sales ever since. In 2019, the model received a major overhaul, entering its a third generation with an all-new drivetrain under the hood.
#3 2020 Acura TLX & TLX PMC Edition
In 2020, Acura launches a handcrafted TLX PMC limited-edition distinguished by Valencia Red Pearl paint with nano-pigment technology, gloss-black 19-inch wheels, and black Milano leather interior. The production is limited to 360 units.
#4 2020 Acura NSX Sport Hybrid
For the upcoming 2020, Acura NSX Sport Hybrid offers a new Indy Yellow Pearl heritage color. In addition, rumors suggest that a new NSX Type R is also in the works, boasting of a stiffer suspension, larger brakes, improved aerodynamics, and most importantly, 650 horses under the hood.
#5 2020 Acura RLX
2020 Acura RLX is the flagship model from the brand that is also the only sedan in Acura’s range to be available in both regular and Sport Hybrid options. As before, the 2020 RLX has generous safety tech, including automatic emergency braking, forward collision warning, and blind spot monitoring, but its cabin styling and infotainment remains rather dated.
#6 2020 Acura MDX
The Acura MDX is probably the most adequately priced 7-seater within the luxury segment on today’s market. Spacious, powerful and well-equipped even in the base trim it is no wonder why it keeps outselling competitors year after year.
#7 2020 Acura ILX
2020 Acura ILX is the smallest and the longest-living sedan currently offered by Acura, that made its market debut for the 2013 model year. Though in 2020 the car continues to be in its 1st generation, it does not feel too dated thanks to being facelifted twice already, in 2016 and 2019. - 자동차
Acura has a couple of exciting new cars coming in 2021, check them out here: krplus.net/bidio/htGhopKlfHDJh6g
I appreciate the fact that Acura isn't going overboard with the size of front grill for the Type S.
It is no BMW, lol
Wow! That aura type s is freaking beautiful, I love that body style look so bad ass!!!
Agree. Can't wait to see the production-ready version.
Acura...my favorite brand. Having owned a 2017 mdx shawd for 2 months now. All I can say is WOW! STOKED for their future and the type S models. That is my dream car tlx type S
Hi, Nick. Thanks for sharing. Subscribe to the channel not to miss new releases
I agree.. I had my tlx shawd for a yr.... and I love it. Just wish it was more leg room but overall she is extremely fast.
@@blockbusterz2370 truly are fast though!
@@AutomotiveTerritoryDailyNews Yep. Done and done. 😊
This new concept Type S is nice. Hope the production model look as nice. I miss the Acura integra.
Hope so too. Really looking forward to the new TLX Type S.
*Highly unlikely* . it is *forbidden* for the Japanese to make descent looking cars.
Only fugly stuff works for the modern Japanese.
Hope the type S has 6 cylinders and rwd.
MAXIMILLIAN RODRIGUEZ Acura makes nicer looking cars than Honda that’s pretty much always been the goal
Cant wait to see the typeS in action❤
RDX+interior into all models + S type line for RDX( as example old 2.3 ngine with new 10 speed transmission& new turbo) , MDX, TL & more serious front brakes for all models.
Can't wait for the TLX Type S. I will definitely be buying one. It looks so good!
Stay tuned! Will definitely release a review once a production-ready model is revealed.
seriously' Love the channel.. you're doing really great job.. keep it up!!
Hi. Thank you! I really appreciate the support!
I enjoy the RDX the most. Both its Interior and exterior are superb
The CL type-s was my favorite...I'm gonna get another to ride beside my type-s tl...
The RLX is a stunning car. Probably the best looking car they've made since the first gen TSX. (Excluding NSX of course)
Jamie Roseman nah, the 3rd gen TL/S is the best looking Acura sedan.
I agree Jamie - but the interior needs to get refreshed if not redesigned
PhatMikeSP1 Hell yeah.. You got that right my friend. Acura needs to bring back the designer they had from 04-08
I recently purchased the 2019 ILX A Spec and love it!
Nice! Thanks for sharing.
The Acura line up is awesome, especially the hybrid options are good alternatives to both turbo and all electric cars.
They need a two doors like the Integra/RSX
True, Acura is really behind on sports cars now.
Or bring back the 3.2 CL i love that car before i sold it. Now im driving a 15 Accord coupe but its not the same feeling as my old Acura
daMan i have a TL with the 3.2 still running strong and fun to drive. Although not as light as a cl so it feels kind of underpowered
Cl type s
I would buy a new CLS in a min....but it better be supercharged and 6speed...like my 03!
I would love for Acura R&D another coupe in the mid 35- 40 range with manual trans (6sp)
Prelude’s spiritual successor- Finally !! 😘
I don't think so .
I’d like to see the RLX become larger again like the old RL from the late 90s. Something that can compete with an LS or at least GS in size. I love Honda
Who knows! Maybe when Acura decides to do a generation update. Hopefully, this is going to be soon.
Those early 2000 Rl's had the best soft interior. Good quality. Not anymore
Current RLX (which I get as a loaner whenever the wife's car goes in for service) is definitely bigger than the current GS (which I own). I have also sat in the LS a number of times and don't feel it is that much bigger than my GS. I think it just looks bigger from the outside.
ALL CAR'S ARE..... AMAAAAZING💖💖💖💖🔥🔥
Hi..
Hey again! Glad you liked the lineup. Are you excited about the new Type S?
@@AutomotiveTerritoryDailyNews A lot....
@@jagadeeshbabuk7914 hello ????
They should remake Legend but the big couple Legend with the rear power windows.
Yeah if they really want to take over their competitors. But they won't it's all about the numbers. How much profit they can get back in their pockets.
The current RLX is one of the nicest and most comfortable cars I've ever driven (had it as a service loaner many times) but the tech is SO outdated I could never buy one at it's current price. If they give it the RDX interior and tech, and have a Type-S option as well, I would totally go back to Acura.
@@bv202 Yea I hear you definitely
What they should do is with the legend they make it like a bmw grand coupe sedan. Larger than a acura tl. More luxury it would go in direct comparison to the avalon
I just went to a '16 TLX (tech) from my '01 CL from my '90 L coupe (with the rear lowering windows and rear ashtrays on the arm). The build quality in the TLX is pretty low compared to the Legend and CL. I find the technology pretty good with touch screen, voice controlled climate controls for under $20k. "Defrost on". PAWS? LKAS? 34mpg? There is the value.
I love to see that ACURA have tough temper, now their models are awesome.
Thanks for your comment, Agustin. Which Acura is your favorite one?
🤔 still late into the game
Well,
I don't know,
a Big SUV.
This Acura type s is magnificent you're very lucky in USA because in Europe Acura no présence only the NSX and i never see one in belgium grettings thanks for videos
You are welcome. Thanks for watching
Acura desperately needs a performance branch like Lexus has the F Series and BMW has the M Series
Even hyundai has N now
They do it's called an A spec.
Block Busterz no there’s no v8 engine offered in Acura’s lineup
Block Busterz aspec is not a performance branch at all, it’s strictly cosmetic and suspension upgrades but no upgraded performance
CalisRemedy Acura has never produced a V8 engine and never will. It’s just not what they do and V8’s aren’t fuel efficient
Is the nsx a spots car or a supercar?
Hi, Miguel. It a sports car, has too little power to qualify as a supercar.
Power alone is not enough to qualify some cars as "super car".....this NSX competes with the McLaren 570s which has 520 horsepower and NSX boast a 573 horsepower.....keep in mind McLaren is considered a "supercar".....so I definitely think the NSX fit that category as well....
Gue meminang acura RDX 😍😍
I can't wait until ap yr or 2 after it drops. Than I can maybe trade my tlx shawd in for it.lol its beautiful
Coupe please ...thnx
The Acura TLX PMC?? PMC as in Pre Menstrual Cramps? How did Honda think that one out?
I think you are probably the only person who thought about it🤪
@@AutomotiveTerritoryDailyNews I can't be the only one with medical training...
Put the new RDX interior in all new Acura's.
Fingers crossed 🤞
No, the touch pad sucks. We need touch screen
They'll use it as a guide for the 2021 TLX & MDX
Honda Acura will be fine for me. What people give up in style they make up in quality. And resell value helps.
Thanks, Joe. Which model would you prefer as an optimal price-quality-handling combination?
I personal love my tlx
Love to buy a 2020 acura mdx aspect
Hi, thanks for your comment! Are you currently an Acura owner?
Sold one yesterday. Beautiful car even though it can get pricey.
Need a TLX type R......2 DOOR!!!!Something to compete with the BMW M series.
Cl type s
okk....when is the a brand new Integra Type R coming???? perhaps have it come in SH-AWD or RWD with true manual transmission.....
Hi, sorry to dissapoint you, but they have not released any news about it.
We need this in europe
Lol type s looks awesome so does nsx. But there's no stick at all where are we gonna install our katana shift knobs dammit! 🤣
Lol. Looking forward for the release of production version of the Type S
If i were Acura id drop an ILX Type S using the Civic type R engine, brakes, and suspension with a unique Acura tune for it. This is very odd this has not been done seeing is how you have all the parts for it already. Tuning it Acura is just engineering = cheap and should be done regardless to keep brand identity. Id also work on the sounds your cars emit. I ran a high pressure past a wheel on a friends new ILX Aspec and it locked as that sound came from the pressure air off the wheel. It was perfect timing and shortness. Sorry i cant convey what i heard but it was so cool. Brake away from those old beeb beep arming. That sound was like something out of a movie saying this is the future. Stuff like that needs in.
Acura are so good at designing vehicles
Which one is your favorite?
Automotive Territory: Daily News Type S for sure😍
I'm In love Acura design but i wish they made a coupe in a type S . Yes NSX is nice I can't afford the price tag that come with it !!
👍
whats the difference really between the ILX and TLX?
Hi. For starters, the ILX is a smaller car. It also has different powertrain options than TLX, and is priced at around $7,000 less
Similar outdated interiors and the ILX doesn't have them little car name plates on the door slit nor do they have side mirror turn signals.... not much difference... Acura fucked up on the ILX, I have one and I regret it!
Oh and the retards at Acura thought it was fun to remodel the outside of the ILX but keep the inside the same since it first came out in 2013...
Sir please do video on Mitsubishi cars...BTW acura tlx ultimate in my opinion..
Hey there. The Mitsubishi is on its way!
@@AutomotiveTerritoryDailyNews thanks sir..
You are welcome! Ring the notification bell not to miss the new releases!
The tlx type s is nice. I likebit. The rlx design is nog great! Could be better! Lexus ls500 is so beautiful!!!!
As long as the new generation has better interiors and performance packages, the Acura brand will be okay. The last TLX had nice front but rest of car was plain and interior was dated.
I love my 2015 TLX but the infotainment system is so outdated. It doesn't affect me that much because I just use my iphone for music and directions.
Thanks for the comment. I am hoping they are going to update the infotainment for the 2021 model, because as of right now it is much different from your 2015 one.
@@AutomotiveTerritoryDailyNews yes, which is making me consider a 2021 but we shall see!
The RDX is nice but the center stack was retro and did not offer a touch screen but only a touchpad for navigating the screen.
Hi, you are correct. Thanks for noting. It is weird that still does not come with a touchscreen
What's up with Acura and the letter X
Could we get a price estimate and release window for the Type S?
Hi, Acura has not announced it yet. Ill make sure to report when the info is released. Stay tuned for updates!
Toyota have Lexus,
Honda have Acura
Beautyfull the Acura type s hope Acura will sold this car like that
Me too. Thanks for watching!
I miss my 2007 TL type S. Some stupid guy on his phone rear-ended it. I now have 2009 tl but not the same!
Sorry to hear that. Did you get to drive it for a long time?
@@AutomotiveTerritoryDailyNews Bought it new in 2007 from Acura dealership in Atlanta till 2018. I had 158 thousand miles on it. Drove it from Atlanta to New Hampshire 5 times to vust my cousin and his family. Great great car.
The Acura NSX looks so much better than the Lexis LC500, but the LC500's interior is far superior to the NSX. NSX at $157,000 compared to LC500 at $101.000. Which to get?
Tough choice. You should probably read owners' reviews and comparisons online. And test drive both to make this decision. P.S. I personally like LC500 design
acura's current design language isn't that great. the type s concept looks really good so i hope they continue that trend
Really hoping for TLX Type S to be a sportback. Otherwise, I'll get a Stinger.
Hey, between you and me. Just get a Stinger. It rocks
@@AutomotiveTerritoryDailyNews True. But the Type S will have a new Acura developed twin turbo V6. A beautiful sedan with Accord rear leg room and near NSX performance anf handling is worth the wait.
The quality is not there from Kia
Max looks great but unfortunately expensive
They should bring back the legend
Lol, I first thought you were talking about a Type S model, before realizing that you were talking about the actual Acura Legend😉
Well Shit... this makes it hard. Honda is in the works to come out with an Accord type R but now i see this Im like.....🤨
I wish this video could tell us what the other S-type model besides the TLX would be SMH.
Hey. Sorry, I don't think I know what model you are referring to. A
@@AutomotiveTerritoryDailyNews There were reports in a statement made by Acura that they will have at least one more model other than the TLX to wear the type-s banner.
They did not reveal which model in their reports.
Who knows, they could be blowing smoke.
Nsx is my dream
Good choice!
@@AutomotiveTerritoryDailyNews thanks
I used to like Acura, but sport cars with front wheels drive bias is simply bad business. The front axle usually goes out prematurely, the CV boots, and the front drive system. It is NOT a true AWD cars. Nice vehicles, but always a few steps behind the competitors.
Hi, did you ever get one one?
Why not bring back the RSX
Type S is nice but FWD is a deal breaker for such a high price!
Agree. But we still don't know what it is going to be like in the final production version
Only RDX and andvType S are all new from the ground up, all others only have new front and rear styling, my 2014 RLX has basically the same interior. The new Type S will be a hot seller like the Genesis Q70 . The MDX and RLX are too long in tooth bit will still sell. But they lack the newness and upper luxury of Lexus , until they give them a complete redesign like the RDX thru will never compete. IMO if they don’t then they are short selling them .
Acura is a superior brand of high quality fun to drive vehicles. They are definitely worth the premium over their Honda siblings. They lost their way for a few years with the exaggerated and over styled grille but the design language is on point with their current line up. With their dependable reputation and reasonable repair costs they are an exceptional value compared to their European competitors! And the limited edition TLX in that metallic red paint and black trim and wheels is one sexy machine!
Wouldn't really agree. Look at the ILX for example, it is old Civic with different design. On the other hand Civic is completely new, with new platform, engines etc. Acura is currently 3 years behind Honda when it comes to technology, platforms, new engines etc.
I can’t be the only one that recognizes the kahoot beat
Are Acuras just rebadged Hondas or does their luxury deserve the extra buck you have to pay? Share with us in the comments below!
ACURA TYPE S.
Automotive Territory: Daily News - As an Acura owner, they are well above the Honda level. Yes, they are equally outstanding in quality, but all other aspects, the Acura surpasses. Acura is a real luxury brand 💯
I’ve had the 9G Accord sedan and TLX; the TLX is a better car inside and out. Don’t get caught up on paper specs.
Acuras are an upgrade from Honda, but to me Acura and Honda have lost their ways in styling and the interiors. I was a Honda fanboy that went on to Acura, and now Lexus. The new type S looks like a winner, but I hope they don’t screw it up with FWD.
The only thing Acura is lacking is race ready performance, besides the overpriced Nsx bring back CL coupe or Rsx, or even Integra, man I miss my 92 integra best car I ever bought.
If they made a manual transmission Type S, I would sell my WRX for it.
But they won't...
CaseAgainstFaith1 Yeah, that’s why I’m sticking with my WRX
😍😍😍
Thanks for stopping by! Which Acura did you like? Is it the Type S?
Hope the type s is affordable. 30-40k
Don't want to crush your expectations, but the regular TLX starts from $33k, so I doubt that Type S is going to be affordable
Automotive Territory: Daily News Darn they should make a eco boost version like ford
Nice video! I always got a video about the Acura TLX If anyone is interested!
Take........My.........Money.....
I think Acura will be glad to😂
Where’s the CDX?!? Cmon Acura!
Hi, Sean. No info on that yet. Stay tuned!
Looks good but it better has the performance to back that looks up or else its just a another riced up Honda
The first in green color looks great but in europe only nsx sold 👎
Hi, the Type S is still in it's concept stage, but it should be market ready by 2021
Looks like a four-door Camaro, which is a compliment.
Hey, Camaro or Type S? What will you choose?
@@AutomotiveTerritoryDailyNews when Kia is murdering Acura, BMW, Audi, etc... enough said. Stinger GT2!
Automotive Territory: Daily News if it’s RWD or AWD, it would be an easy choice for me, but if type s is fwd, no thanks.
Where is the green Type S in the thumbnail? Thumbs down for clickbait!
Hi, the Type S is the video, it is #1. But I do confess that green is not the stock color, they released it in blue. Does not green look better though?
Automotive Territory: Daily News The point is that you have a thumbnail that doesn’t actually appear in the video. That is dishonest clickbait. I have seen the blue Type S in many videos so I didn’t need to see it again
The infotainment just makes Acura undesirable for most buyer's. It's the main reason I didn't get one. If they fix and update this old and out of date look and setup.
Hi, Andre. What car did you get instead?
I hope the production model has door handles.
My vote is for those Tesla-style handles. What do you think?
Automotive Territory: Daily News - I don’t see Acura doing it....yet .Its still pretty expensive. (lol they already have it on some of there cars)
That will never be produced looking that nice. They always seem to screw it up. Looks like it should be fast but will probably only do 0-60 in 5 sec. And they'll sell it for $50,000+.
Hope, you are mistaken. But I guess we will find out soon
👌👍👍👍👍👍🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥💪
The TLX gauges is already dated. Not a full TFT screen like every else. Not that impressive with the lineup. The only good car is the NSX.
Thanks for the comment. What about the Type S?
@@AutomotiveTerritoryDailyNews the Type S seems to be a prototype, which we'll probably never see. Looks.like they will apply the tech in the Type S to the current model. Still, the are front wheel drive based vehicles (FWD). Can't compardbto a Rear Wheel Drive (FR) vehicles.
Only seen once NSX on the street, some middle age Asian drove it.. Car is too damn expensive made only for the rich.
Agree. It is definitely not a mass market vehicle. In the US, they sell about 200-300 of them per year.
When will Acura and Infiniti stop playing nice? They put out amazing concept cars that they never make, but Mazda, Hyundai and Kia copy their designs!
No plans for electric luxury
Yeah, I have not heard anything yet, but I will make sure to report if they release some electrification plans. Ring the notification bell not to miss new releases!
If there was no Toyota maybe Honda would be number one in sales
Lol.
Make Vtec great again
290 hp for 50k??
Sorry. keeping my wrx... would get an NSX if it lost all that hybrid bs, and added a mt, chopped off about 25-45k off the price, but they will kill themselves when the Corvette C8 drops anyways... missed opportunities acura....
and on the low end people have been crying for an integra/rsx for over a decade now... get with it...
Thanks for the sharing. Would you consider switching for the C8?
@@AutomotiveTerritoryDailyNews You're welcome man! It depends on how much money I have, If I have enough to spend after a couple of houses, I've been eyeing on the low end a Supra, totally turned off by nissan Z atm. a C8 spyder though... I would def do one of those... I just wishe these new cars had a stick. Automatics put me to sleep.
This video is wrong, tlx and type a are going to be the same car jus different trim
Hi, Carlos. That is what I said in the video. The 2020 Type S is a concept that Acura has recently presented. The new TLX TypeS performance trim will be based on the concept, plus Acura is planning another Type S model in the nearest future.
😕??? Acura rsx ???
Hi, it has been discontinued in 2006. I have not heard rumors that Acura plans reviving it, have you?
Couldn't get past the 30 seconds because of the voice.
Luke Huber nah the accent valid
It looks like a camaro zl1
👍👍👍❤❤❤
Type S Yes
The rest are so dated.
Acura is NOT what is use to be.
The New RDX is so full of plastic it's hideous.
Lexus quality is what they should be concerned about.
I'm going Lexus for Quality and reliability.
Hey, hope the production version Type S won't dissapoint. BTW, if you do prefer Lexus, I have a video about their 2020 lineup on the channel: krplus.net/bidio/fdRogqCJnoHdhIY
Thanks I'll watch it
Yes I have friends with the MDX and all the Pleather is hanging of the seats and armrest.
Shame on Honda
Apart from the NSX all the other models are design disasters. I don't know what happened to Japanese styling over the last 10 years but it seems like they all have a need to over-do the lines and cuts until it looks like a dogs dinner.
What about the Type S? It seems to be my viewers' favorite.
The new type S will never look as good as the prototype, don’t get excited too much. The pricing of the NSX is a non-sense!! I don’t see the point talking about it and creating a hype around it when no one can afford and that people with that kind of money will not buy an Acura, waste of time and effort by Honda.
Hi there. They've managed to sell 200+ cars in the US last year, so someone buys the NSX =))))
HIBRID REALLY?
Very sexy! Especially #1 and #4
Thanks for sharing! Did you see my Honda video? krplus.net/bidio/h8iAX2aKnm-nlGE
But you will end up getting #2
@@user-xt8pw4jn6e I like #2 also. More practical
Everything looks like a BIMMMER c'mon..
Front dash of the mdx 🤮
I think they have a new generation model in the works! It will probably get a revamped cabin.
No six speed tranny😞
No big looking peak front end. That was a Bad design
Bad design? Which car are you referring to?
