I remember mentioning to you some time ago when you restored a Zippo lighter that my nickname in college was Zippo, because I was a cigarette smoker back in the day and carried a Zippo windproof and was always handy with my lighter, lighting cigarettes and other rolled items (1970-71) and the folks nicknamed me Zippo. I never saw one this small and it was a great restoration and engraving. I hope you and yours are healthy and safe and I'll toast you with a KC Bier Co. Munich-style Dunkel. Cheers from this old retired coot living the dream in Tennessee.

I liked the play on words to get you to "Baby Hippo" almost as much as the restoration, Martin.
I was surprised after all of the gunk was removed to see what looked like a steel casing. From there adding the fine layer of gold was a nice touch. It's basically a tarnish free brass look. ❤😊

I wish you would show the first version and the final version at the end of the video. Also, you didn't give any information about how old the small lighter is. You did a good job again. Working with very small parts takes a lot of effort. It was a very nice repair. Congratulations..👏👏👏👏👏🙋Stay healthy.🙏🤲You are loved.💙

I have my Poppa's old ZIPPO from the late 60s. It's from the company he worked for, but way before he worked there. I sent it to ZIPPO, and they fixed the hinge and replaced the insides for free. I'd L❤VE to have this tiny one!!!
