Well there was fuel on the ground right where the exhaust was blasting. If they had a little flame from the exhaust they would have burned the whole car down with Chris in it

I remember when this was just two rails! Amazing to see the progress. Can’t wait to see the seats fitted and hear her run properly. Huge congrats for getting the car this far and so well constructed.
Self tappers as grounds! That's asking for problems, fit nutserts and do the job properly. Trust me on this one of seen this problem time and time again. Rest of the build coming on very well keep it up! Looking sweet.

it was not running on all cylinders and shot some fuel out of the intake. Nothing too special.

I admit I remarked early in this build that it would never get done, and I am so glad to have been wrong. This build is great and really shows you don't have to have a 100 thousand dollar shop to make amazing cars. So with my apologies, awesome job!
Well, don't feel too bad--back when we all thought it was just Chris and a bit of Eric, it certainly was a much more unrealistic project. It definitely is starting to look like a BIFB car, in all the good and bad things that that entails. I'm excited to see the finished product.
This car is probably around $100000, between cost of the engine, 2 cars, and paying 6 people for 6 months. If not someone is getting ripped off.

I think this is my first ever comment on youtube in the 7 years I've been active, felt like I had to make it. Been following this build from the start - definitely had my doubts - and seeing it come together like this makes me feel proud for what you have achieved. I find it very inspiring, and I hope you get to pass on this energy way beyond this build, whatever it is you're doing! Props!

idk if you know this or not, but the accelerometer needs to be mounted in the same orientation and relative position in the 240 as it was in the BMW
or the car will be forever in drift mode? lol
Also possible he got that sensor tuned out of the ECU
I think he mentioned that in a previous episode
It’s Motec or no tech. Maybe they will see this rats nest of wiring at sema and help him take this to the next level

you also close the inside of the front fender so that the water/ dust/stone from the tires can not enter the engine space,with all cabling and electronics, that seems sensible to me,and the engine compartment remains cleaner

WOW'S the wiring look like a octopus. I'm glad you got these guys helping you out. It would have taken me a year just doing the wiring. Hope you will enclose the wiring next to the battery. Corrosion is number one killer of the wiring system. Had a240Z out ran the corvettes. THANKS AGAIN for the videos.

I have been watching this from the start. Its nice to see it coming together. I hate the color but that is just me. Black & or Red is my favorite. I had a BMW 540i, it had a DNA intake & Exhaust kit and the Race Chip in the computer. It was very fast. Building a 65 Corvette Sting Ray now. Well Can't wait to see it done.
This thing is intense! I remember you sitting with a pile of tubes from jegs and I thought to myself, “this is never happening.” You’re a boss man!

Why didnt you put the wires through the centre console ?
The harness probably laid out better along the door sills. May have been a lack of room as well with the amount of wiring, would be a great idea when he goes back and thins it out though.

@@spartankaos1174 gotta be in the industry. aka have a business doing something automotive or work for a company who is and have your owner send you out there. or be media, although media passes are somewhat hard to get. but its easy once you've been out there once to get passes again for the following year
