Hey Chris, love the work that you do and I am often really surprised by your approach of certain things but I was shocked during this episode, so many things that could go wrong with the way you made things considering the power level that engine could potentially put down. For starters don’t run that power wire without that safety relays. It is like you said in the event of a crash is shuts off the engine. Imagine a 1500hp runaway that will only stop when blown. Also the air lift system is not meant to be carrying the car while driving faster that like 5 to 10mph, so lowering the car means lowering the car and not bagging it. If you want that you should get a air suspension setup. Also even though the way that your hack works now it will be just fine, you will always have a risk of blowing the bags if you hold it too long because that air compressor can go way higher than the bags can handle. Last but not least, the reservoirs are a bit worrisome. The engine reservoir will be sloshing around like crazy in a horizontal reservoir no matter what. It won’t slosh upwards much with only that one hole on each side but still a square piece of aluminium bar has never been used as an reservoir in the racing world before, why do you think that is? And the air to water intercooler reservoir is way to close to that exhaust manifold so you better be insulating that from the heat coming from the exhaust or your temperatures are going to be a nightmare. Also, that dry ice setup is a cool idea but there is no better conductor then direct contact. So why not throw the dry ice in the reservoir when drag racing and install a pressure release valve on it. If you make a easy to remove lid on that reservoir you would also have a better fill port that that neck that is on the side right now.
Hope you can do something with my feedback and wish you and Oscar the best hoping that this build will be done fast cause it is awesome!

CO2 is not flamible, it's a product if the combustion if carbon... So no bomb. If you enclose the sublimating dry ice in a pressure vessel, it could rupture. Perhaps that's what you're thinking of.
As for how helpful this would be, I suggest you go to your local Kroger and get a block of it and test setting it on something metal, line a skillet. Even though the dry ice is very cold you'll find that it doesn't conduct into the metal well. Thin is because where the dry ice is touching the metal, the dry ice turns into gas. This pushes the block away from the metal. This causes a sizzling or screaching sound, but it also breaks the contact between the dry ice and metal... Insulating the two.
I believe, though I've not tested this, if you were to use a similar sized block of ice, you'll find MUCH better results.

Maybe you could use switches that automatically returns to open circuit so you don't forget the switches on. Don't know, maybe the pump stops when it hits a certain pressure. Anyways love your work and fabriction.

I have been following this series, fantastic! One thing about that tank is that you will run into metal fatigue cracks with it. When you pressurize a tank it wants to expand. Typically a tank is a cylinder for this reason. A tank with flat sides will swell under pressure and contract when the pressure subsidies. Repeated cycles will lead to failure. Hopefully the pressure is too low to hurt your tank guys. Great series
