I LOVE this: Working on a Lamborghini and no manual, just a lot of "I think" and "let's see" and just start tearing into it. Just another puzzle. A $115k puzzle. This is bold behavior, this is baller, this is what I love about this channel.

Hex, Torx and Triple Square are the main bolts VW group vehicles are assembled with. Buy a good variety of sizes too.

Actually no. Audi owns Lamborghini. Volkswagen owns Audi. So by extension they own Lamborghini too, but on paper, the owners of Lamborghini are Audi.

There are 854 comments in this video alone, plus thousands more in his other videos. It's easier to reply to all comments when you're channel is small like mine for example, as I only have 450 followers and only get a few comments per video. I can't imagine every week trying to keep up and reply to 850+ comments on KRplus, another 3000 comments on Facebook, Instagram, etc. Even if he wanted to, that would take him days to do so.

@@trevorhart3 It'll most likely be a different shade of green and it is different for each car because the paint color fades over time. So, he will most probably have to color match the paint. And Lambos come in special kind of paint and custom shades which are not cheap to say the least.

Note. Underbody plastics are also good for reducing airturbulence.
Also you should try save the Wheels. Just take them to a wheelfixer. Curb rash can be welded and fixed on a lathe/Wheel balancer and any bends can be balanced out aswell.

How bad does your door have to be for you to look at that one, and go, "Well, its better than the one I have." Even if you are missing a door, I'm not sure it would be worth spending $2800 on a mangled door.
@@StefanMArndt Chris doesn't have a door, as he mentioned in the previous video, this car went thru a couple of body shops before they totalled it, and a bunch of parts that got taken off are still in one of those shops somewhere. I think the green door on eBay is the actual door from his car

several plastics cache, side wing, front lights and probably the front bumper.
but I assure you, on the passenger side I have the place to do it,

It was fun buying specialty tools when I was working on my Audi's... Looks like the Lambo has the same kinds of fasteners. On my D2 S8 the triple square was on the front axels to the diff connection.
TRIPLE SQUARE! I've wrenched on cars for 20 years and just learned about these 4-5 years ago when I bought a Porsche 944. The axle bolts are triple square heads. Once you get used to it, it's kinda nice. You can get big torque on them without much slippage, as long as you have the bit seated properly in the bolt head.

I wonder why they dont include the Torx wheels keys with every Huracan, maybe its in the tool kit somewhere. On the other hand, nobody is going to change a tire on the side of the road since they dont come with spares anyways..
Whats about taken them out upwards instead of pulling down, the bits for bolts you looking for are called spline (used in vag group (wv audi skoda seat lamborghini and bentley I believe ) Anyway you can still try to reach out guys from Ross-Tech as could be something you can disable electronically.

Looking forward to another great build. My only advice is buy the best triple square bit set you can find, if Lamborghini's are anything like VW's you will come across some triple squares that have very high torque values. A good set of bits will save you hours of frustration..

When you quickly learn what those bits are called. So now have a few XZN bits about now.
VAG products are crawling with them. I first came across them on a Skoda Fabia I had the job of putting front dampers on.
But no biggie, they can be purchased from somewhere that had the good sense to stock them.

Look in the glove box or front trunk (aka frunk) for the wheel lock key. They are typically always there for when the owner has a flat tire.
