Installing a Stand Alone ECU on the LS Powered Huracan - Haltech Elite 2500

Normally, I don't find wiring very interesting, but it was super satisfying to watch it work with every step of the way.

Hi i'll start by saying that i am a car key programming tech in my area and i know that audi has the keys identity stored in the cluster so if you change cluster, bcm and ecu it would work!!
if the ''ensemble '' is not complete it won'T work!!

you need to make sure that's a true ingition signal. Generally button press 1 on most cars would only give you accessory power and not ignition. Big difference when you hook to accessory is that under cranking accessory voltages drop out generally and then come back once car is running. If you're on an accessory, no engine ecu power during crank means your never gonna fire

Guys, Mad props for doing the wiring! I follow a lot of engine swaps over the years and the part that scares folks the most is the wiring! it's a lot of the reason people chose older style engines so they don't have to figure out the electronics! I have an electronics background and doing the wiring sounds like fun to me. I'm not sure I'd take on a Lambo... Thanks for the build! It should be really amazing! I know you're done already, but I wanted to watch the build first!

On VAG cars, the immobiliser/key is coded to the clocks(cluster) as well as the ECU

For the starting button you could add a starter interlock relay to protect the wiring if the new Haltech ECU is not so smart. Meaning the starter wont engage if the engine is turning. Nice job on the install today I’m loving this project 🇮🇪 ✌️

Crazy cool build. One thing you may already be aware of is that these cars are all Can Bus equipped. From what I’ve learned is that all modules need to call and respond in order to not piss any of the systems off.

Yeh the Specialized ECU Repair guys got a really impressive setup there , enjoyed the video showing their work, if I was in the US I would definitely be popping in to see them.I'm sure they could help Chris out with the Huracan.

This was super ambitious. There's professional shops with two dozen employees that wouldn't take on this build, let alone with a 5 month time frame.

Fixes not 1 but 2 lambos, uses harbor freight tools.
