next time you need to bend a metal piece like that with a kink or bend from damage try hitting it at the bend or kink with a dead blow or something. Its called stress reliving and it actually helps! when I was at school using our big frame machine I had a upper and lower frame rail on a focus I couldnt get back to spec. a few big ass whaps with a hammer and a block of wood solved that issue and helped pull the frame back from 7mm out of spec to 2mm within spec.

For the frame repair check with a suspension lift installation shop like 4wheel parts on 82nd or any les Schwab tire shop and see if they have factory lower control arm pockets. The factory parts are cut off the frame and new drop crossmember have the new pocket included. Be best way to get it fixed properly
