If you had any clue how to rebuild a car then you would know the test drive is needed to find out what else is wrong with it. When you replace the tie rod, an alignment is necessary to get the car to track straight, that is a given. Sure it needs more work, but it's ok.

When I bought my 135i back in 2012 my idea was to have a German engineered 2jZ (N55) and now it basically does! The DCT with a flash is amazing.

That is awesome. So fast and sounds lovely after the tweaking you guys did. The skirts and bumpers you got I hope fit well. You didn't show if the front bumper fits ok or not so I hope it does in the next video. Painting will look good. Three Salvages on one car does that ever happen? Wow. Great work and find though for only 3200 dollars. I am not a car buy but when you revved up the engine and went 0 to 60 the way you did makes me want my next car to be a mustang.

Man I love the looks of the Supra and the functionality of those front air intakes. man I can see almost every single new Toyota from now on having these as a main design element. 10/10
It also has a base 3 series steering wheel lmao, probably the cheapest way to replace the blown bag with a whole steering wheel

someone put in a different steering wheel the e89 comes in a unique steering wheel and its seems as though it missing the paddle shifts. The 2.0i auto comes with a smaller thicker steering wheel with paddleshifts.
Adil Ahmad first thing I said when I saw the interior. Looks kind of like an base model e90 steering wheel.

Yup I have a z4 e85 3.0si inline 6 and the steering wheel is way better than this one and I'm talking about a previous model..as someone already said, it must got changed for a cheaper one after the first or second salvage attempt..

I love those cars. I use to have an 06 z4 soft top v6. Blue on blue. Loved the blue interior. Car use to whip like no ones business. Miss it a lot, I ended up selling it.
I never wanted to become a mechanic, but with KRplus it looks like a good job lol

@@StephanRu88 that one has 240 hp.. and tbh BRZ are not to fast for 200hp either. I mean I don't think they have to at all but our blown E34 525iA could atleast pull with it. Didn't quite keep up but that car was from 92 and the engine wasn't in the best shape. Still IMO the brz or 86 doesn't have to be fast to be awesome

@@StephanRu88 look at the side badge of the Z4, it says 28i which originally would be the meaning of a 2.8 liter engine but simce downsizing BMW but equivalent with less zylinders or liters. And a quick search of a E89 28i shows the exact power output of the car (241hp out of a 2 liter 4 banger)

Hook Set I too had an 03 330xi. The timing CHAIN broke at 36,167 miles, the warranty ran out at 36,000 miles, and they wouldn't work with me at all, wanting to charge me over $11,000 to repair/replace the engine, so no.... I didn't want to run mine into a tree, I wanted to ram it clean through a bmw service dept......
TheMattc999 I feel your pain during the three years I owned the car I replaced the fuel pump, valve cover gasket, the vanos bearings. The wheel bearings, the rear diff, the harmonic balancer, Guibo and the center bearing, the upper and lower radiator hoses, the water pump & thermostat, the front rotors several times, the wheel bearings, the rack and pinion which was a nightmare job, the surp belt, and the tensioner, and the lower tensioner for the ac, the spark plug coils, The crap pulley system for the Windows, the wheel bearings, the ccv valve, the oil in the gm trans an filter that's suppose to last forever the crap plastic box that hangs off the radiator (expansion tank) every bushing and motor mount, the steering linkage components , the tye rods The control arms, cv axle, the brake booster, the transmission and transfer case mounts, the clutch fan, steering rack cooling line and the reservoir and the pump twice over. The oil filter housing twice which is the stupidest design I've ever seen where basically the pulley system puts torque on it and causes it to fail. Basically anything with a rubber component. That I am absolutely positive were designed to react as negatively as possible to oil residue. Oh and it was on the verge of a new head gasket as I could see condensation build up on the oil cap and I'm sure much more I'm forgetting trust me the list goes on. And talk about pricey parts...It would only stay fixed for 3 days at a time personally I think the car was cursed but every other BMW owners channel I watched seemed to have the same curse. At the time when I sold it when you came to a stop the torque converter would shake the whole car. I told my self never again and I bought a 4 runner for the wife and a taco for my self. If Kia made the new supra I would be more excited about it. They didn't need to label it supra they could have gone the FRS route and named it the POS and no buddy would have batted an eye but for me personally it's like having Charmin remake the Mona Lisa. I hate BMW with a passion and what BMW fan boy is gonna get excited about a supra anyway. Never trust s car company that puts a full tool kit in the trunk.

Man it is a great thing so see someone purchase a salvage car that actually know what there doing and taking the time of day to do the job right oppose to trying to do a quick flip which turns out to be a half ass job. Looking forward to seeing the end result.
