Huge Respect for both Endo and Watanabe!! Both of them. Won all games against the Minions this year. They might also be the only active pair with a positive record against the Minions.
Cause they are the only pair who has a formidable defense, you know the minions (high speed type) deal better with Big Power players. Minions dont have big smash like young Indian players or twins tower to break down such a great defense from Yuta/ Endo.
@@zenilampard4639 Yeah, generally they are similar pair. Watanabe and Sukamoljo are both very creative players, but i think Kevin is still better. Endo and Gideon are both solid players as well, who play steady and provide good support for their partner. But i think Endo smash is a bit better.
I think to other reasons, beside the one you mentioned, are that the Japanese almost never go into flat drive exchanges, which would favor the Indonesian. Also they don't show their mental state barely to their opponents. Endo literally never shouts in a game. The Minions get a lot stronger when they see that theirs opponents start to crumble.
Spot on. Kevin and Endo are almost even, but I think Endo edges above because he has a stronger and more consistent attack
@@vanwarbux4354 of course Kevin and yuta are something rare. Both players have a great defense and very skillful. The problem is their partner, I think Endo has better defense and attack and more composed than Gideon. Gideon is good and has improved his defense and composed but still not enough to deal with such a great wall from Japan

Day by day, week by week, Yuta Watanabe has gradually grown into a very dangerous men's doubles player.
So talented, skillful and young. You can literally see Endo has improved his game as well with a reliable partner as Watanabe.

I think Minions are frustrated that the shuttle is slow. Gideon needs to develop his game beyond the hard flat smashes to get Kevin involved at the net. I also don't get why Kevin keeps rotating out to the back because Gideon can't find the proper timing from the front to rotate back to the back court. Not a good strategy from the Indonesians when the shuttle is slow. Should do more like Watanabe with the deceptive drops and angled smashes.

Cause Kevin didn't want Markus to be tired sooner. Ikr it's very difficult for minion to deal with a great defense from Yuta/ Endo. Great defense > high speed. Big power > great defense, that's why Endo/Yuta has a serious problem with that kind of players who have big smash like Li/ Liu or young Indian pair. Hopefully the minions find a solution for this sooner

I love both teams. I don't mean to offence the indo fans, if marcus didn't have so many errors, the match will be more intense. Indo team need to find the solution to fight this japan team. Both team have same strategy. Both team got best net players and great defense shots. When both teams have same play styles, one of them must force to break the walls of defensive shots, and deception.
Why minions did not learn from their last match which was also their lost .
