i would like to make the argument of: chenle slytherin
boy is probably the most competitive person in nct after yuta. refuses to admit loss, gets petty if he does, takes any challenge, and whenever he does well he screams "CHENLE IS THE BEST"

@@karenholl2489 maybe, but chenle is very ambitious (see: all his accomplishments as a child, debuted within only months of training, fluent in korean in the shortest amount of time compared to other foreign members) and he's super cunning and intelligent! even recently with the birthday video, you could tell he immediately caught onto what was going on but decided to pretend not to for jisung's sake.
interesting take!! but what makes me wary of sorting chenle into slytherin is that he's very humble - i mean a lot of nctzens are surprised when they find out about his family and achievements. i feel like if he was a slytherin, he'd be more proud and brag lol. slytherins also care a lot about appearance/how other people perceive them while chenle is not afraid to look goofy. i def think he's more of a slytherin than hufflepuff, but for me, i'd sort him into gryffindor! you mention chenle's competitive side but that's actually also a gryffindor trait - they hate backing down! slytherins' competitive side is more tied to their perfectionist/goal oriented side meanwhile gryffindors' competitive side comes from passion and stubborness which i feel is more fitting for chenle :)

@@chloe.d6615 the problem is that chenle is originally a really kind, caring and sweet kid. but he goes with the flow and the dreamies flow is = let's roast each other. so he learned to be supportive but also savage with his friends LOL
I think he's a gryffinpuff for sure. he's brave, reckless and headstrong, but he also enjoys sitting back and letting others take the lead while he supports them.

Well I was just thinking "Why are you even bothering telling them your story when in fact, they'll just tease you and maybe don't even care 😂"
i think chenle is more of a gryffindor - he seems very brave/daring to me in the sense that he always wants to try new things out (and never seem like he's scared of making mistakes), while he also can be determined/stubborn (like when arguing with jisung he always wants the last word lol). i feel like he was more of a hufflepuff when he was younger... a couple years back when he was more bubbly/innocent and so on.
also don't know if i'd put jisung in gryffindor (maybe ravenclaw or hufflepuff?) but the others i think were on point!! also this is just my opinion, i still think it's a great video. i'm a potterhead and it's always fun to see how others sort different nct members. thank you for always putting out fun content!
this is a really good explanation. I used to sort chenle into hufflepuff as well but after chewing gum and how he got more comfortable with Korean, he started radiating more gryffindor energy. and yeah I would also sort jisung into hufflepuff or ravenclaw, leaning towards ravenclaw even though this boy has questionable knowledge with some things lol
I agree! another difference is I used to think jeno was a solid hufflepuff but then in a variety show the dreams said he's actually a lot less patient than he seems so I started thinking gryffindor lol
@@cocoalakin usually ravenclaw isnt just book smarts, its about the general desire to learn which is why ravenclaws tend to think deeply and are generally more open minded which is why i usually think of rensung as ravenclaw.
@sage lee well said - they're willing to try and learn new things and I think they're actually quite brave in that aspect because even if it's a bit out of their comfort zone, ravenclaws tend to be outgoing in the aspect they want to learn/try something new.

if you really watch jisung closely you can tell how sharp and witty he is, it’s his comebacks are usually on the quieter side (he's more so introspective if you really pay attention)! plus, he’s got this slyness about his nature that comes out with his hyungs and is usually the ultimate “maknae on top”

Jaemin is Hufflepuff, very caring towards others. Chenle, on the other hand, is Slytherin; he's among the most ambitious NCT members.
Renjun has the capability to be a Slytherin (trust me I want him in my house) but I see him doing well in Ravenclaw. He just radiates the biggest Slytherin energy.

In my opinion, we all agree that Haechan is Sly because he is witty and evil, Renjun is Ravenclaw because of his wisdom and kindness, Chenle is Hufflepuff because he is straightforward, friendly, and sincere.
But I think Jeno is Gryffindor because he is smart, brave and loves challenges, he is also a good leader.
Jisung is a mix between Hufflepuff and Gry, he is such a perfect friend (Hufflepuff) and he is energetic and determined as well (Gry)
