Yoongi is him, SUGA is his personality when he's with the group, and AGUST D is his alter ego as a rapper, or a character that Yoongi created to represent another face of his. Basically Yoongi, SUGA and AGUST are like 3 different personalities in one person. The difference between AGUST and others, is that AGUST is the space where Yoongi can free himself and talk about what he wants and make the music he wants without limitation, where he can talk about his insecurities, fears, problems, and also, boast about the artist he is and his Shameless achievements, basically Yoongi empowers himself through AGUST. In general, AGUST is much more aggressive in terms of lyrics and rap, he is brutally direct and shameless when speaking, he can lets out even the explicit language, it is also where he exploits his potential as a rapper, composer and producer, and plays with his rap. He is someone completely different artistically. He is a character without filters, without scripts, without ties, it is only Yoongi's way of showing another side of him.

I'm not even a fan of BTS. But when I heard 'Daechwita', I got so shocked, I mean I never heard any Korean rappers who curse and express themselves so much. I'm from South Korea, and Agust D is so cool. I can't even describe him without getting my lips parted. I'm in my 20s by the way, so it's kinda my first time hearing an idol spitting this kind of bars.
Trust me there are many of them who express themselves like how you described. You'll soon find some more. Kpop and k music like any other music has a wide variety

This was truly what I thought. I just love how this man loves music so much he gave up his free time at hotel after exhausting concerts and gave up hanging out with friends during his days off to make this mixtape in 4 freaking years. Everyone knows how tight and hectic BTS schedule is. He could have gone to bed and relax after an insanely busy day, but he chose to work a little more to finish this mixtape. Words cannot describe how hard this man worked, yet he released all this FOR FREE, because he also loves Army a lot.
Now I want to fight with everyone who thinks that Yoongi is lazy. Armys, please never take their dedication for granted.

I would like to describe Agust D’s music as more like early styles of rap because he is expressing himself and his experiences, using real words that make sense, uses his writing and poetry as a tool to speak to others, and put his heart and soul into it. I know! I didn't even know he was releasing something until the day he released Daechwita and then I woke up and the whole album was out! I was so happy.
Anonymous Person I was literally so surprised. In the Taegi live he literally said it wouldn’t be out for a while. At that time I made a comment on omuriceu’s YT post about D-2 that said: it will come out in a couple of days. Then the next morning she replied to my comment saying it was out today and my friends on my Kpop Discord server were talking about it and I was like WHAT? Then I binge listened to the album and realized Daechwita was made for the Yoongi cult.
His voice with the tiny tweet voices from outside makes this video so much calming
