yes. Beats are fun to use. Did try. Especially the bass vibrate part. But they are not worth the price for it tends to get muddy. And brands like sennheisers and akg and so on are better to be honest.
Ppl here believed Dre really designed the headphones professionally but dun you know a thing called "gimmick"?
And surely the artists who wear beats are paid for doing so.

As an engineer I can tell you stick to the same popular headsets the public uses. Mix using more that one brand and find a good mix that fits the mass produced crap. Skull candy ear buds can be your friend believe it or not. Just sayin.

@rumbumbalow i went into best buy 2 monthz ago with 100 bucks fer headphones i opened n tryed every pair i wnted in there **good cutomer service** i tryed every sony,senhiser er w/e headphones n they said they were "Monitor headphones" so they didnt soound good on my ipod then i tryed skullcandy TiTANS and they blew my ears out with base fer only 50 bucks ^_^

Ive got a pair of studio beats for $250, tested the bose competitors and can honestly say the quality on the beats is equal, if not better, and they look far nicer. the beats leak sound like a bitch though, if you're using them out and about, get the bose, use at home get the beats

Okay, so basically, in an open-minded enough nutshell, the gradual life of the beats was a product made by once rich, now financially FUCKED record label execs crawling on the floor towards anything they see fit to resurrect their once surplussing bank accounts. His whole story blatantly demonstrates a desperation talking about all the times where he's thinking, "Gosh, we're in trouble"..Just a testament of how overpriced these are. They're probably thinking, with every consumer who buys a pair of Beats where they gain at LEAST a ridiculous $250 in correlation with the cost of producing the headphones, "This is for napster, and piratebay, and the fact that musicians only make money by playing live these days. This is payback, you audibly naive torrenting idiots."

I'm sorry but if Jimmy really cared about music then he would go out and admit that the beats don't provide the best sound quality for the price. All my friends have beats and I was prepared to buy them too but then I found out about the ATH-M50s and let me tell you: They sound alot better for almost half the price of the beats studios. The beats sound like they have a veil over them. It saddens me that people think the beats are the greatest headphones ever because every celebrity wears them.
my headphones cost much more than beats and i still hate beats, so dont say that.
While I do own Beats, I have to say the sound is mediocore. I own Bose in earphones and they sound much better. The sound on the Beats are too muffled and my Bose provide a much greater bass.

Beats has only put out 2 products, since leaving monster, the beats pill and pill xl. Every other product beats has put out was a creation of monster !! no other audio company would work with beats, because they had made a name for themselves, for working with companies and then stealing their ideas. they did this with monster, and HTC. This is why, Apple wanted to BUY and OWN beats, rather then just be majority share holder. But since monster, Beats has simply taken monsters same headphones and creation, using the same monster drivers, cables and design, and they simply made them out of better quality plastic, and tuned them to sound a little better, but other then that, they are still selling monster headphones, even though beats is an independant company, and no longer affiliated with monster, beats simply makes their headphones with all monsters technology, sound signature, design, and cables ect...
no, shut up, I bought 2 of them and they suck and broke in 2 weeks. I currently now have headphones almost half the price that sound 2 times better.

Beats by Dre are way too overpriced for what they offer. Sony, Sennheiser, Beyerdynamic, Audiotechnica, AKG all offer better quality for more reasonable prices. I understand business is all about profits, but good grief, business people are responsible for a lot of the economic and societal problems to the masses by overfeeding their own pockets. It's sickening!
