I’m sorry she seems nice and she can dance well but I always wonder why black networks like BET highlight artists that don’t consider themselves black. Latin award shows don’t highlight and lift up African American artist. Please spare me the history about have Dominicans have African roots because MANY of them don’t claim that. Bet you won’t see Meg Thee Stallion on any Latin magazines/tv programs.
You know.....I was about to say the same. I mean there are A LOT of us out here who choreo in our sleep...but I also understand too that "this particular thing is literally the politics" behind the scenes. Hell in the 90s You had ppl like Big Lez Jossie Harris, Darren Henson, Fatima , Laurie Ann Gibson who were hired so NSYNC ,BACKSTREET BOYS , O-TOWN , BRITNEY SPEARS ETC ETC could have some flavor and swag. I never see them highlighted on here ...not even a segment for throwbacks. Which in my opinion as a dancer is shameful and fucked up. It is not to be hateful or anything but I feel like for this network to be called Black entertainment....they sure enough don't highlight it.

@B C I totally agree, I don't rock with cardi B, dj khaled, tekashi, fat joe etc. If you're not black I do not feel you should use the N word period. I don't support them at all. My main reason is no other race has turned they're racist negative word into a positive. Other races use the N word like it's ok. We made the word our own to take the power back from racist people. I'm tired of it. It's not ok. I don't have nothing against anybody, but respect is respect.
Meg doesn't do latin music so of course not, all of these other nations do our music and for some reason, we let them in! But I see your point, I am afro Latina and I identify as a black woman because I am.
