She has grown so much as an artist, as an entertainer, as a voice, as a woman, and as a person. Say whatever you want about her, but as long as she is using her power to SPEAK for those who are silenced, I support it.
***** So wait. Women almost always win in family court, such as child custody and alimony. If a man runs from his responsibility as a father, he's scorned as a dead beat dad and has to pay child support. And if he doesn't, he is sent to jail. However, if a woman decides to run from her responsibility as a mother and decides to have an abortion, she isn't called a dead beat mom. And some people support and cheer that on. Yet the father isn't allowed to have any say about the woman keeping the baby, and the mother isn't financially punished. So that's a major double standard that oppresses men. Lastly, war. Men historically and currently are the only ones who have to sign up for Selective Services when they're 18 years old for the military draft. Which means the government force men, with the threat of prison time, to fight in war whether they like it or not. And potentially have their head blown off. That's government slavery. In a lot of ways, such as listed, men seem more oppressed than women. I wished we lived in a patriarchy, instead of this matriarchy. Where people are afraid to say something due to political correctness. And "hate speech" laws. That's not masculine at all. It's like people in society are using words that are pleasing and inoffensive to women. Now I will say that women in Saudi Arabia are seriously oppressed. I just get tired of the made-up or petty offenses that a lot of women seem to have issues about in Western society in regards to "oppression." Thanks :)
So getting drafted to fight in a war and getting your head blown off, which only applies to men, is petty? Life and Death? Well I'll take your comment seriously when you have to be concerned about being drafted in a war. Because hey, according to you, life and death issues are "petty." Maybe one day you'll thank men for the freedoms you got...
***** I think I get what you're saying. I wasn't trying to compete for who's the most oppressed. I was simply replying to your comment about women being oppressed. I was bringing up some counterpoints. Because I and other men have been preached to about how great women are, and how oppressed women are. And we are getting tired of it. I hear "feminists" complain about the patriarchy. Well I wished we lived more in patriarchy and less in a matriarchy. Where "you can't be offensive" with your speech. Or "don't hurt people's feelings." Essentially it controls people's speech in society overall. Which is being taught to children and college aged adults. I mean, could you imagine these Social Justice Warriors protecting us in war? Yet they were taught for 18 years to not hurt people's feelings and not to saying something hurtful...Yikes!!!
***** Oh, ok. Well that helps to clarify things. Look, I agree, women are oppressed in Saudi Arabia or Afghanistan for example. There is also oppression against men around the world, including in America. That's why I brought it up. Your original reply to me only stated women. So I was trying to be more inclusive by mentioning the oppression in women. And it seems like you're saying men aren't oppressed. If that's the case, what does that mean? You're only stating your opinion, not a fact. If you remember, stated about 3 key issues that men are oppressed on. I stated facts, so do disregard them doesn't mean they don't exist. I don't quite know at this point in time where this is going...
***** I hear you. Here's my problem. What's the point of celebrating a gender for a day? I'm a man. I have a pair of nuts between my legs. Doesn't that matter? Or is it only vaginas that matter?
Up for a bicth to be through the same time as u want smoke and white pou you need it for me know what I can do for you to get into a building no I just want you to be there by the first of two or more if we can do it together I get a bag of action and white rice with me now
cocojenise "Where is International Men's Day?"...Uh, where do you think the word "History" came from? HIS STORY!..I sure hope you're not a woman/girl asking such a misogynist question. (It's like when racist asks, why is there a black history month?)

I support international women's day. My wife did all the housework as usual, but this time it was different, I put away the stop watch. She had all the time in the world to do her women's work.

Most definitely. She has worked her ass of to the very top of the music industry and is currently the only female artist that is there.
How can you not love Bey....Happy international womens day to every woman in the world!!

Beyonce's a true feminist. She has an all female band and even for this tour she got rid of all her male dancers with the exception of the Les Twins!
Beyonce calls herself a feminist and then allows the abuse of Tina Turner.. aka "Anna Mae" to be mocked in her song... #notbuyingit
well then fuck off
You're a little late to the party, people have been mocking that SCENE from that MOVIE for YEARS. It is NOTHING NEW.
I know that they have, I am not oblivious to this. I am saying that it needs to stop
It has no place as a metaphor- even if it was used that way. There is NOTHING sexy about someone being physically abused by their spouse.
Rachael Doane jay z wasnt trying to be sexy when he said it.....

OrangeSodiePop The origin of the word 'history' come from the ancients greek and means to inquire.
That is like asking where is white history month or straight pride...every day is international men's day.

When Beyonce and women like her are held up as feminist role models, you know there's a problem.
