Much of my gear was sold away over the years. But I sold it to a friend luckily and I bought it all right back! So let's get right back to where we left off!!!

Great job doing this in the MPC, even though it was originally done on an SP-1200.
btw, the hats are actually Linn cabasas
There's also a Linn shaker where the closed hats are. That's what gives it that dry swiping noise.
Actually sounds pretty nice like this. It’s not like there are too many manipulations in the making of the song to start with. I like that high end punch that the MPC gives it

You should be able to just select record in mono on the mpc sample screen. Just switch it from stereo if it's on that. Or just only put in one jack to the record inputs 👍
