nintendogs holds a special place in my heart as it was one of those things that brought me safety at home while my parents were doing their dysfunctional family thing downstairs.

I hecking loved Nintendogs. I remember the 2nd dog I got was a Labrador and I named her after my real childhood dog. When my dog inevitably passed away, I'd occasionally reopen Nintendogs and play with her and pat her and it was like I got to spend a little extra time with my real dog again. Then my Nintendo and all the games got stolen. I kid you not, as a hecking adult, I cried. It felt like I had lost my dog all over again.

I actually found this video while playing Nintendogs + cats so found that quite funny. Nintendogs is such a cozy game and it’s honestly one I continue to pick up every few months and play continuously. I love the dogs, the cats, and just the overall vibe ❤

This is why we need more puppy that stays puppy in our lives.

I remember my sister would let me watch her play Nintendogs when I was little and she LOVED bath time, but I thought it was torture because ASMR is essentially ear torture for me ( because I have sensory issues ) so she would blast the bath time sounds whenever she played it ( she was and still is a menace lol )

Baths were both a blessing and a curse in this game. The beginning part would be relaxing but when it came to rinsing it was a NIGHTMARE.
The shower head icon blinks when it's done (I think?) and i remember rinsing my poor virtual dog for AGES because the game kept saying THERE IS STILL SOAP LEFT- WHERE?! WHERE GAME?!

Nintendogs was my JAM. I played it constantly. My first dog was a chihuahua named Sarah and she was amazing at the competitions, like a legit pro. But then I lost my ds for like a month and she ran away. I legit cried for so long afterwards. Got two more dogs to fill the void 🙂

This makes me want to dig out my DS and check on my pups. It's been at least 5 years since I opened that game. I have the Labrador version, since Labs are my favorite breed of dog. I have a yellow lab, a shiba inu, and I don't remember if I have a third. Nor do I remember my dog's names off-hand.

Nintendogs was literally the first game I ever got when I got my DS as a kid. Let me tell you, I NEVER did obedience trials cause... that was so hard to even get them up to a certain high ranking. Disc competition was the same but I did agility trials more as I can make my dogs go around those obstacles like WHOOOSH! 1st place every single time baby! I'm practically rich in the game and have more than 3 dogs (ok, some are at the spa chilling while my three bread winners are at home). I also played it enough to where I have all dogs unlocked so... there's that. I've only been on bark mode maybe once or twice but the fun was letting other people play with my dogs while I was busy doing stuff and they could customize the accessories on them however they wanted so it was a cute game and I still love it, even though I was teased for playing it and after that... they turned me... *bubbles voice from PPG* Hardcore... *pulls out Mario Kart games*

I love Genshin Impact!!! I rolled earlier this month and got the Raiden Shogun, who I will protect with my life if I have to! I also loved Nintendogs as a kid, but I didn't understand a lot of the things I was supposed to do so I just played with the puppy. It was interesting to hear about your experiences though and, honestly, would love to hear about your experiences and thoughts of playing Genshin Impact.
