I know everyone is talking about John coming back but let's appreciate what that man did for his kids. He is a hardcore collector and was willing to part with them just to buy his kids gifts for Christmas! That man is top tier!
I like holiday cheer but ... collectibles are investments. This single dad was resourceful and entrepreneurial and thoughtful but how is that not normal ?
My husband has had to sell a big part of his Transformers collection in the past so we would have enough money for food. We feel his pain. I'm really glad he got to keep everything and still have a fun Christmas.

@@odalissk Collector's are much different than investors, we buy what we like, and plan on keeping them for life. They might be considered an investment for our heirs, but for the collectors, we don't plan of giving them up. My collection will be with me when I die. It's probably worth in the neighborhood of $60,000 and I'm a guy who makes half of that a year and I plan on never selling it, unless forced to. But to my kids, when I kick, it might be in the $120,000 or so range and they can do what they want with it.
This guy is a collector, and probably has been buying things that he finds important to him for decades and has made the decision that the most valuable stuff he has, is worth giving up because in comparison to his kids, they are not the most valuable things he has. How is that not worthy of respect?

I gave birth for the first time at the beggining of may in the middle of the pandemic. Had to make it happen without the help of my family and suffered Post partum depression because of it. It’s dark here right now. I’m a mother who has been working full time, I had to quit my job to stay with my kids full time. I’m struggling to feel relevant or useful in the ways I’m used to, and it’s hard to find something that makes me feel like a person again but smiling always helps. +1 Every SGN episode is a mini-game to see how long I can last before someone mysteriously starts chopping onions. One time it was a pillow with a man's late wife on it. Another time it was old people dancing. This time, it was the people at the barber shop shaving their heads.
