@@323block from what I read; since 2019, he's been pitching with a undiagnosed UCL injury. don't know why Tampa was unable to find that problem, but that was the reason for his short outings and/or his DL stints in past seasons. It had finally been addressed/treated so we will see if he only pitches 5 innings a game this season. 81 pitches for 6 full innings is so far a good start if he can keep that up

Thanks to the Dodgers, I've regained interest in baseball after 20 years. I'm particularly excited because I'm unfamiliar with the era when Ichiro and Matsui were playing in the Major Leagues. It's disappointing to see baseball's declining popularity, but it's a fantastic sport. While there might be many other wonderful things in the world today, baseball has unique qualities that make it special. I hope MLB continues to thrive.
