I’m so happy to see Minnie and Yuqi able to explore more writing and composition on this album. I love Soyeon and she is insanely talented, but it’s great to see other members showing their talents. Writing, composing, and arranging their own songs is what makes Idle stand out to me.

Also, Dahlia wrote the lyrics together with Minnie, Breadbeat, and Soyeon. So it's not wrong that Soyeon wrote all the songs in the album.

Information:
The title song is the second audio snippet "Hwa" - this word means 'flower' but can also mean 'anger' and 'disaster'. Specifically here it represents a *burning flower* as the concept - a wise choice because as it is a flower set on fire it fits well with the latter meaning of disaster and anger by nature.
All the songs were written and composed by Soyeon except "Lost" and "Dahlia". Lost was written and composed by Yuqi, and Dahlia was written and composed by Minnie; both of these had minor lyrical input/idea by Soyeon.
Minnie composed and arranged Moon instead of Soyeon 🤯 I can already tell "Moon" is my favourite but definitely love this album.
Just the Miyeon section of "Moon" is enough to find ecstasy on its own ❤

Honestly Gidle just has their own concept and genre mix at this point. Its so impressive how a 2 year old group can establish such distinct and rich depth to themselves. I 7 CAN NOT WAIT TO SEE THIS

I’m not discrediting the other members (because like many Idols they are talented and have worked hard to be idols) but what made this group so successful was definitely their leader Soyeon. I think that amongst many talented women (the other members) she specifically gave them a unique music style, also the fact that some members have unique voices like Yuki or special dance skills like Soojin.
They’re just so... GOOD lol

Bubbles *-* I totally get what you mean. I don’t mean to discredit the other members either because I am a firm OT6 who adores all the members and their talent. But I don’t think I’ll ever get over how Soyeon literally decided to write a whole Latata (as encouraged by Pentagon’s Hui, a talented producer himself) cause she was tired of CUBE pushing off their debut. She’s a true leader who knew that she needed to take action or else nothing would be done. And the rest is history! Not to mention Soyeon being an all-rounder. Nevies should never stop praising Soyeon for all the work and love she puts into (G)I-DLE. It saddens me that antis and even some Nevies put so much pressure on Soyeon when she and the other members love (G)I-DLE and each other so much more than we fans ever could.

I’m soyeon biased and I used to take pride in how she wrote/produced all of their songs. But I have to say it’s great yugi and minnie is showing their talents too this album and I love minnie’s writing!
Im Soyeon biased too, and im so glad Yuqi and Minnie are adding up to the producer line, so that means we have more colors of idle and Soyeon won't be overworked at the same time :")

Minnie’s actually had a few of her other songs put in some of their past korean and japanese albums. However I believe this is the first time we’re seeing Yuqi’s own song on an album😆 “I’m the Trend” was composed by both Yuqi and Minnie but I believe that was just a single/gift for fans.
It’s absolutely refreshing to see half of the members of their group take part in the music (hopefully we can hear Miyeon’s one day cause she said she was interested in production). Not only does this make it more likely we get more music quicker, it also means each of them can provide their own perspective and color in their respective tracks! Nevies are too damn spoilt with amazing music. There’s really no one else doing it like (G)I-DLE.
