It took until about 18 minutes for me to get the concept (I think), and it's really cool. If the concept is the cloning, it's like, every time a pair gets caught - a new pair (of clones) wakes up and there will be a new picture warning them about whatever it was that caught the previous pair. Hoping that by the end the final pair might have enough information from all the "failed" attempts to escape fully. This is a really cool idea! It's like an escape room, but very unique.
ahh yeah I didn't notice that at first, I was asking why Hoshi and Dino didn't get the warning pictures and shua & cheol didn't get the warning to not release that man
This is super late but youre so right. I think the pairs after Hoshi and Dino are supposed to be their clones. I was also a bit confused on why the pictures were randomly showing up but i think i have an actual explanation for it. When Shua and S.Coups went into the research room there was documents of past patients and some notes talking about how some clones are trying to escape based on memory alone. I think the pictures on the wall arent just directions/clues but memories of past clones basically telling them what they should and shouldnt do (since in a way they already experienced it)

😂 but In fairness to Jeonghan and Dokyeom, they did not open the cabinet, they made Siyu open the cabinet door maybe to test his loyalty, or if the researcher will go for Siyu. the researcher must have been confused who to capture.
Jeonghan sensed the betrayal, I can feel it. He knew stuff was gonna happen if they saved Siyu...He looked so unafraid when Siyu screamed, just stood still as if he knew this guy would betray them at some point.
This episode is on a WHOLE another level. Going Seventeen is more than just a variety show. It's a whole ass game show with multiple levels that covers every genre.
This content is attractive to non-kpop-fans too, because you don't need to know inside jokes or something. You just watch and scream and that's entertainment. That's how it works. watching these EGO series for the first time (slowly getting to know svt) and all I have to say that *this idea is brilliant*! I was wondering why Dino and Hoshi didn't have any hints, while Scoups and Shua did, but then when Jeonghan and DK got the extended version of the first pair + second, everything clicked! at 13:30 when Scoups was reading the papers it was said "the subject tried to escape relying on his own memories" AND IT JUST MAKES SENSE! They are clones of each other, with every pair of people exploring more and more, and this is why Scoups and Shua "remembered" that they shouldn't open that cabinet, because Dino was caught like that... too long comment but I'm just so excited to watch it haha

watching these EGO series for the first time (slowly getting to know svt) and all I have to say that *this idea is brilliant*! I was wondering why Dino and Hoshi didn't have any hints, while Scoups and Shua did, but then when Jeonghan and DK got the extended version of the first pair + second, everything clicked! at 13:30 when Scoups was reading the papers it was said "the subject tried to escape relying on his own memories" AND IT JUST MAKES SENSE! They are clones of each other, with every pair of people exploring more and more, and this is why Scoups and Shua "remembered" that they shouldn't open that cabinet, because Dino was caught like that... too long comment but I'm just so excited to watch it haha
