I honestly haven't even seen the previous season's cinematics before. (I've followed League since 2012, too.) I saw 2023's and thought, "eh, this is fine." Tf guys?, His personality never changed, he's not even selfish too, Darius is not some evil dude who doesn't care about anyone, he's someone who loves his country, he respects you if you show fearlessness and strength, didnt you see the LOR Cinematic, where he saved a slave girl from the king of Urtis?, Yeah, the reason why he saved her is because she showed fearlessness, she wasn't afraid to hurt captain farron at all, therefore, allowing the slave girl to reach the high ranks in noxian millitary.
It felt somehow like this. In the Cinematic where he fought side by side with Zyra, Draven, Nautilus and Kata you can see that. Darius and Draven pushed their mates away and never tried to support each other.

Characters not acting how they were originally portrayed, random placements, and a lot of questionable choices on the sentinel's behalf. I could list a few better options regarding sentinels come to think of it. Oh, one pointless extra character.

@@thickuums7651 So, basically, the main thing you need for Runeterra lore is, honestly Champion bios and everything on the site, if you wanna read those, go ahead, you don't need to, Arcane is focusing on a very small batch of characters and one region that doesn't have many cinematics on it already, so far most of these cinematics aren't canon, apart from the Ruination ones, which should not be involved with the Netflix show, so you're basically all set, the most you could do is read up on some character bios that are from Zaun/Piltover, since thats the region that the show is focusing on, namely being: Jinx, Vi, Jayce, Ekko and Caitlyn, Ekko may or may not be apart of the Netflix series, but those are the big characters of Zaun/Piltover that as far as I know are showing up in the show.

@@hizamtabao2377 that didn't really didn't stop them from expanding on other champions' lore and succeed with flying colors: they hit the jackpot with Spirit Blossom last year and released Yone, indirectly forwarding Yasuo's lore hinting to the Ruined King game, leaving us wanting more. This year's blunder was entirely on the writing team
