제발돼라님 최근에 구독한 시청자입니다. 요즘 돼라님 영상들 정주행하고 있는데 평소에는 벌레나 곤충에 무서움을 많이 느껴서 정이 가지 않는 동물들이었는데 영상들을 보면서 이 작은 생명들도 가치가 있구나 하는 생각이 들었습니다. 예전에는 개미나 매미도 무서워하는 쫄보였는데 요즘에는 영상들 보면서 적응해 나가고 있습니다 ㅋㅋ 이런 소중한 영상들 만들어 주셔서 정말 감사합니다!

I found out how to survive tick bites. When you go to the mountains, always cover your whole body so a tick can’t get on you. Also wear dark clothes so it is easy to see if a tick is on you.

This is a good Psa about outdoor safety . My grandma and my other moms family members who live in Illinois all have Lyme disease because the ticks there are insane . Also on a side note . If you live in a place where reptiles are more common ticks will gravitate to that instead of people usually . Very interesting stuff .
Rule of thumb while going out into nature: Check your whole body for ticks or other bugs thoroughly after getting back home.

Just next time make sure you check yourself for ticks when you get home. Also ticks are most likely to bite around the lower legs and ankles as we walk through long grass. You should get hiking boots and then tick guards that come to your knees. It can help a lot I’m stopping the ticks. Also helps with snakes and lots of other bugs biting you. I’m sure there is a spray as well that you can spray on yourself and skin to keep ticks away. Also check the bugs you bring home, ticks can be hiding on them as well.
I'm glad the ticks around my place aren't as dangerous as they are there.

Fun fact about ticks, they wait on top of long grass and wait for a mammal of any type to brush up against them but they also wait on short trees and if you go in a field or forest of any type, be sure to watch out for these nasty bugs.

That is a murder tick? I found one on my puppy a couple weeks ago... She was only 35 days old, but she didn't show signs of any weakness. She still acts normal.

@@symesdaddy well did you properly look at the ticks mouth? If it has a horn like long mouth then its this dangerous tick. But if it doesn't have a long mouth its probably a normal tick. I clearly remember weirdly looking at the ticks mouth and wondering.

from my understanding, dog ticks carry different diseases than other varieties (i've always been under the impression that dog ticks are less worrisome aside from rmsf, but i could be wrong). any ticks can be dangerous, but you or your pet being bitten by one doesn't necessarily mean you'll fall ill and it's certainly not a death sentence
