Everybody loves Phat Gus, but my personal fav is Frank, he figured out the entire vent system first try, and he even set up blueprints :) he’s cute, bold, and smart!

I'd just like to point out that Marty the Hacker is the real MVP. He was the first to overcome the spinning bar, hacked the computers to drop the ladder, and conquered the laser box to open the vault. What a story arc.

I love how Phat Gus figured out the helicopter ride by being so into eating he forgot it was moving

14:40 makes sense because humans have only been around for almost 1.7 million years so squirrels know more than we do.

Imagine walking up to a pregnant person with a big sign that says "Can I call you Phat?" and then holding out a piece of cake with "yes" written on it and an empty plate with "no"

I feel like the reason we all love this guy is because he never clickbaits, and he never brags about how smart he is.

Fun fact:
Flying squirrels are no different from normal squirrels, but they have a big flap of skin between their arms and legs.
They use these “wings” to glide from tree to tree, parachuting, with MORE drag. So they glide.

This was better than reading a book! Loved the engineering and monologue, just amazing. My grand son is really going to enjoy this.

Can we just take a moment to notice how smart these squirrels are? And the fact that, even a year after, the squirrel squad is still in band?

Frank studying that maze then blasting through it gave me a further respect for rodents everywhere.

11:24 Squirrel ASMR time!!

Having raised 2 orphan squirrels last year I had a chance to watch them develop all these amazing skills. They are clever, acrobatic creatures. Notice when they approach some object they’ve never seen. They get low and hold their fluffed up tails between them and the object. That way if the object attacks them, it gets the tail and not the squirrel. I love your obstacle courses!

Watching a squirrel actually memorize the path of a maze by looking at it outside and then being able to go inside and get it perfectly on it's first try is one of the most mind-blowing things I have ever seen, I could not believe that a squirrel could posses that level of intelligence. Most of the other challenges by contrast were still really cool and funny, but were mostly just brute forced by repeated trials.

The comedy gags and writing are actually pretty funny better then what you'd normally find and then you have the amazing build, design, and footage. Overall a KRplus HOF video if such a thing existed in the critter puzzle category.

Plot twist: he is trying to make squirrels smarter to rule over the world and we will be at their mercy.

Breaking news: Squirrels rob a local bank after being trained by an ex-NASA engineer.

Some squirrels were getting into my attic and nesting in there. I set up some standard cage traps and put peanut butter on plates. I never caught any and they would consistently get the peanut butter. Sometimes they would leave things like insulation on the plates in the trap. I think they figured out they were traps and they would climb in on the roof of the cage (upside down) thus avoiding stepping on the trigger point on the floor of the cage.

I just love you squirrel obsticle course keep them coming its neat to see how smart they are!!! Its to bad you could get different breeds for it and have them see which squirrel is the smartest!!!

Anyone else kinda blown by the fact it’s been A YEAR since the last one, literally feels like yesterday
