There are no traditional liberals, like Joe Lieberman, in the Democrat Party, today. He was run out of the party because he wasn't a rabid Leftist. The Democrat Party has been hijacked and consumed by Communists and anarchists.

Sen Lieberman came across to me, in the few substantive conversations we shared, as a man cut from broadly the same cloth as the late Sen Eugene McCarthy. Both men were eloquent debaters, and great listeners. These are marks of effective statesmen.

Blumenthal apologized to his voters for previous comments on his service, has Trump ever apologized for anything? He can't even ask forgiveness from Jesus. Some Christian, the Bible is his favorite book that he never read.
