i know orbits (ourii and cloo included) say this a lot but genuinely nothing like this has ever been done before. no dancing cuts, no performance aspect. rarely a kpop music video at all, everything from the sets to the incredible art is like a picture from a storybook (a really messed up one, but still). this is such a a unique and incredible concept, one that is fitting for their debut. they're more mature now, with more to offer and i can't wait to see what comes next for them.

Pre-debut LOONA was the reason I wanted to go to art school and get into photography and videography. Last september I finally took the plunge and decided to enrol myself in photography. Now with ARTMS, this music video along with their concept is exactly where I'd like to see myself in the future. This isn't like generic kpop. This is what I'd genuinely describe as artistic and experimental. Wauw.

when i got into loona i quickly started to realize how many artists we have within the fandom. i know it’s quite common to basically any famous kpop group to have fanart made abt them but the ammount we orbits have is massive. from outstanding video edits and lore videos to drawings and paintings to the amazing photographers at the fansites to even having zsunder who went out to being hired to produce songs for other kpop groups. basically every orbit i’ve met is a graphic designer (lol) it’s a extremely art-driven and (very well) art-fed community. you’re in the right place and i’m wishing all the best for you and i know you’ll accomplish all you dream of. ❤

Oh my days this song is genuinely everything I’ve been missing in kpop. Actually interesting concepts, genuinely experimental music, and inciting real emotions within me. I had chills throughout this whole music video I was not expecting this at all but, their range is insane and they slayed this so hard, which I'm not even a bit surprised about. Honestly, if anyone could pull this off it would be them and everything from the visuals to the vocals and the whole atmosphere of the music video and song put together... it was truly entrancing and hauntingly beautiful. A masterpiece that ended with my JAW DROPPED!
Finally Haseul’s voice being featured right again, she really adds something special to the song.

I’m so glad Birth won because if any of the other songs won it would’ve been so generic because it’s been done before. LOONA is known for their wide range and I’m so glad Artms’ Birth is going to be added to that range and expanding the variety that LOONA is known for. 1:21 My favorite post-Loona theory is that “Birth” and “Girls’ night” both depicts an alien invasion or the members being hunted down. With Birth being a folklore version and Girls Night being a sci-fi version.

The fireworks in Girls Night are actually robotic eye watchers being destroyed, which are reminiscent of Kim Lip’s asteroid scene.
Also they said that the majority of the events happening in the music video could be corrupted memories or dreams from the members.
