@@turtlepowers45 Sorry for my bad English. So basically, this year is Seventeen's 5th anniversary. The rings have become a symbol of the group even before the group was debut.
The members have always worn it for the past 5 years and very rarely see them taking it off.
@@turtlepowers45 Before debut, when the official Seventeen members were decided (4 were cut ;-;), they were given a ring that is dedicated to their group. They had a surprise ceremony for this as well done by Pledis staff. It has "Seventeen" and their name engraved on it and they all wear it on their right hand pinky finger. As they received this ring, many of the members cried or held back tears, starting with S.Coups, as it was very emotional and moving for them. The rings stand for them as a family and the love they have for each other. S.Coups and Jeonghan said that whenever they feel down, they can look at the ring and feel better. When S.Coups feels he's slacking, he looks at his ring and he feels more motivated. This is truly special about this group.
