You cannot play most guard minutes with THT, Russ and Avery Bradley in total they tried 6 3pt attempts, with AD shooting 18 percent from 3's. The opponents are crowding the paint, how on earth you are going to score and rebound with literally no spacing. Avery Bradley is not the lock down defender he once used to be, he is severely undersized, to maintain 3pt percentage he won't even attempt 3pter unless it's wide open. THT is best suited when Lebron or Russ is off the floor he is poor 3pt shooter as well. I like Vogel but he needs to change to modern era with pace and space. you cannot play hard nose tough physical defense with undersized guards and old Dwight and injury prone AD.

If he plays another big he has to play Ellington or Monk who can't defend along with Westbrook and Lebron. If he plays AD at 5 and Melo or Lebron then that's 0 defense at the 4/ or 3 and he still needs shooters to Space the Floor. So all he can do is keep changing linups and hope somebody Steps up. He has very little options. With Caruso, KCP, Kuz the Lakers could Run PnR/P with LBJ and AD and kick out to shooters, now they can't and KCP and Caruso were good Defenders as Well. Bad Moves this offseason
