As a metal and rock fans i really appreciate how dreamcatcher mixed and fusion genre into another level this is very unique most of kpop group i never heard before..almost every song i heard and watch their mv but this song really give me goosebumps with that choreo, vocal visual and acting..i personally love Dami rap verse, Gahyeon pink hair, Yoohyeon arrow scene, Siyeon high note, Jiu prechorus vocal and Sua soft vocal overall this song really got . searching for punk music and this group popped up. I'm a kpop fan but never heard off this group.
The chorus part is crazy man. Sadly, I think that the style of this group may not be in line with today's trends.
I originally thought dreamcatcher was all about nightmare, but this theme has ended with the piri's album "The end of nightmare" which is self explanatory, and the album of deja vu "Raid of dream" to show what's left after nightmare.
The actual theme is "Dystopia : Tree of language", it seems there is a tree that control and maintain the communication between humans. We see a tree in both scream and boca MVs.
At the beginning of Scream MV, there is a sentence "One day suddenly the light did not come, people forgot how to say good things". I though scream was only about witch hunt but there is actually a lore behind it. In this MV, the tree is connected to an altar or something though a portal, Gahyeon go in it and touch a crystal of language that explode, then a shockwave blow from the tree. I think she started everything, the chorus "please I don't want to scream" become "I just wanna make you scream" stating she is contaminated by the madness and try to hurt people with words. Also Dami's rap : "One by one, everyone goes crazy".
In Boca, in a world full of sharp word, the lyrics tell somnias to close the door of their heart to bad mouth, a hero (dreamcatcher) come to lock the door until they change the world and repair the language
In a recent live, JiU says Boca is the second episode of a three part series. The last part is probably about Dreamcatcher restoring the language, bringing back love to the world and ending the dystopia.
Not only Dreamcatcher is talented and pretty, their concept is also so deep. I can't believe this group is still underated. DC deserve so much more.

Dreamcatcher's songs used to be about some thrilling creepy loves or nightmares, but in dystopia (the opposite of utopia) series, it's all about what's been happening recently in the industry, where idols are finally get to be treated like a human being and they're being supported for voicing out what they have been through. 'Scream' was about how they never give up on what they do as idols no matter how hard it is. 'Boca' means mouth in Spanish and in this case, the mouth full of thorns, which is also seen in the choreography.
The song is either telling everyone that they should set themselves free by saying what's been hurting them, or it's to those who claim to be a fan while they only see negative things and keep hurting people and 'too many angels'.

I don’t really think people understand the significance of this song and what it represents. For me, someone who’s struggled a lot in the past, it’s still very touching and emotional just watching and reading the lyrics. In the middle of a pandemic full of people with mental health problems, this is just what they might need. This is saving and will save lives. Nobody’s tackling this problem like they did here. This really deserves more recognition, especially today on World Suicide Prevention Day. I hope people can get their word out to others, this is the kind of content we need to go viral right now.
