They were literally the voice of snsd, they led all the choruses and whenever they harmonized something it sounded like heaven. When Jessica left and others covered her parts, including those where she sung with Taeyeon, they just didn’t feel the same.
Seulgi and Wendy’s voices combination reminds me of Taengsic’s because they are just like them, a powerful voice and a sweet voice.
Not everyone can combine their voices and sound good, it needs balance, and they have.
An example of a not so good combination was Tiffany+Taeyeon, or a more recent one, Yuju+Jihyo (check their gee cover).
Can we talk about how Wendy's voice fits so much on Tayeon's lines?

If you're sm artists stan, you will know the reasons why only sm artists can cover other sm artists' song perfectly.
It is because of their 'vocals', and their style of dance. If you notice, eventho their dances are hard, they still manage to dance it 'elegantly'. You can see other group did cover dances to sm songs, the difference is 'elegant' feeling.

This one isn't quite as bad as other times, but she still is more reserved in her movements because of it. She shouldn't be wearingbut that doesn't defeat the fact that she can't properly or comfortably dance in them, and it simple makes no sense to put her in clothes that she can't operate in. They've already put her in clothes that she 100% would have had a wardrobe malfunction in if she wasn't timidly pulling and putting her hands over it as she walked. It's negligent
